EARTHQUAKE ADVISORY | In view of the 4.4-magnitude earthquake experienced today, August 5, 2026, all employees and students are hereby directed to immediately and orderly vacate the campus premises, as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of the entire university community.

All office transactions are hereby temporarily suspended until the inspection has been completed and the University has declared the campus safe for the resumption of normal operations.

Stay updated for further advisories regarding the reopening of classes and work through the University's official communication channels.

With the opening of Academic Year 2026–2027 fast approaching, Southern Leyte State University reminds all undergraduate students to observe the prescribed school uniform and grooming guidelines as provided in the Student Handbook.

• Black leather, synthetic leather, or similar durable shoes

Students are encouraged to comply with these guidelines at all times while on campus. Wear your uniform with pride. Represent SLSU with excellence.
For incoming first-year students, you may visit the BARGO Office, located on the first floor of the Administration Building, to purchase the prescribed uniform cloth.
