Canteen owners, personnel, and students joined the 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 gaining valuable insights from expert speaker 𝐌𝐬. 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐓. 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧, 𝐏𝐇𝐑𝐍, 𝐒𝐂𝐅𝐇𝐒-𝐑𝐍, 𝐇𝐀𝐀𝐃-𝐑𝐍. The event emphasized proper food safety practices and essential women's health topics, ensuring a safer and more informed community. Kudos to everyone who participated!"

- The contest is open to all CSU Solana-Lara students.
-The spoken poetry must be an original composition.
(The use of Taglish is not allowed)
-The piece must be related with the theme “𝑩𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒆 𝒔𝒂 𝑳𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒆𝒌𝒕𝒐𝒓, 𝑨𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑩𝒖𝒌𝒂𝒔 𝒔𝒂 𝑩𝒂𝒈𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒔.”
-Each contestant is given a maximum of 3-5 minutes to recite or deliver his/her piece. No deduction shall be made if the contestants finishes the delivery in less than the maximum time frame. Sounds, instrumental or musical background are allowed to compliment the delivery. No deduction shall be made if the contestant opts not to have a musical background.

Winner will receive school supplies and certificates.

𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 | In recognition of their creativity and advocacy in promoting the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women, the winners of the Digital Slogan Contest were awarded certificates and a 16GB flash drive as tokens of appreciation. The following winners : Mikka Ubiña, Rayven Roca, Sheryl Bargado, Kennedy De Guzman, and Mark Xander Saquing, showcased their talent and dedication through impactful slogans that echoed the campaign's mission of raising awareness and inspiring action. Their contributions serve as a reminder of the important role each of us plays in building a society free from violence and discrimination. Congratulations to all the winners for their exceptional work!

𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗩𝗔𝗪𝗖 & 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗦𝗲𝘅𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 |
On December 11, 2024, barangay officials from Iraga Solana and second-year students united for the anti-VAWC and anti-sexual harassment program in support of the 18-day campaign to end violence against women. The program commenced with opening remarks from Engr. Ma. Haidee A. Mabborang, Campus Executive Officer, followed by an informative presentation by Mrs. Sheryl Fernando, Campus Librarian. The event featured insightful talks by Atty. Frelia V. Palattao, Campus Administrative Officer V, where the participants gained significant insights. Atty. Frelia Palattao's discussed the Anti-VAWC (R.A. 9262) and the Anti-Sexual Harassment Act of 1995. These topics are particularly relevant to students especially barangays, since they encounter such cases within their respective areas of responsibility. A musical intermission by BEED student Jade Villanueva captured the stage from the audience. The program also celebrated creativity and advocacy through awarding of certificates & prizes to the winners of the Digital Slogan Contest. Guided by the commitment to a violence-free society, the program concluded with inspiring remarks from Prof. Chrissa P. Dayag, Campus GAD Focal Person."

𝟏𝟖-𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧

On November 25, 2024, the campus conducted a seminar for the 𝟏𝟖-𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧, with the strong support of Dr. Ma. Haidee A. Mabborang, the Campus Executive Officer. The event opened with inspiring remarks from Prof. Vicenta B. Maguddayao, the Campus Academic Coordinator, who underscored the importance of awareness and action in combating gender-based violence. Dr. Aileen Gannaban, the Campus Guidance Coordinator, introduced the guest speaker, Atty. Frelia Palattao, Campus Administrative Officer V. Atty. Palattao delivered an engaging and informative talk on the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004 (RA 9262) and the Safe Spaces Act (RA 11313), emphasizing the significance of legal protections and rights. She actively involved the students through a dynamic question-and-answer session to deepen their understanding of these crucial laws. Adding an artistic dimension to the program, Sanghaya Kinetic Artistry performed a moving dance intermission that symbolized resilience and empowerment. The event concluded with thoughtful closing remarks from Prof. Chrissa P. Dayag, the Campus GAD Focal Person, leaving students inspired and committed to advocating for a violence-free community.
