SORSOGON CITY, September 20, 2026 โ The Sorsogon State University (SorSU) College of Teacher Education (CoTEd) concluded the final phase of its LEPT Enrichment Activities today through the distribution of food and refreshments, together with pencils and other examination essentials, to SorSU examinees taking the September 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT).
The activity served as CoTEdโs final gesture of support as its teacher education graduates faced one of the most significant milestones in their professional journey. Beyond providing practical examination needs, the initiative conveyed the Collegeโs continued encouragement and confidence in the future professional teachers of SorSU.
Joining the activity were the CoTEd faculty, led by Dean Dr. Alfonso L. Garcia Jr., together with Sorsogon City Campus Director Dr. Telesforo D. Escoto. Student leaders representing the various student organizations of the College of Teacher Education also actively participated, demonstrating a shared commitment to supporting their fellow CoTEd students and graduates.
The final activity capped a series of initiatives undertaken by the College as part of its LEPT Enrichment Activities, reflecting CoTEdโs sustained effort to accompany its examinees not only through academic preparation but also through meaningful acts of support and encouragement.
The College likewise expresses its deep gratitude to the SorSU Administration, led by SUC President III Dr. Geraldine F. De Jesus, for its utmost support to the LEPT takers and to the initiatives of the College. The continued institutional support has helped provide the examinees with resources and encouragement as they take this important step toward becoming licensed professional teachers.
