Seamreec 2025 Southeast Asian Multidisciplinary Research Expo and Extension Conference 2025

Sorsogon State University has organized its first international conference as one of its mechanisms for the realization of the framework. The conference will promote knowledge sharing of faculty and scholars among HEIs in the country and establish partnership among higher education in other countries in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Region.The theme for this year's conference is how research findings are translated into different pedagogies, community projects, and industry practices attuned to the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Transferred knowledge and skills will lead towards improving the quality of lives of the people and sustaining human development through researched-based policies and ordinances.

The first day of the Southeast Asian Multidisciplinary Research Expo and Extension Conference (SEAMREEC) 2025 was a vibrant start to an exciting week of academic exchange and cultural celebration! The opening program, held at the Sorsogon City Convention Center, set the tone with inspiring messages and a warm welcome to delegates. Throughout the day, plenary talks and parallel sessions took place across multiple venues, including the Sorsogon State University Dormtel and E-Library, the Sorsogon City Convention Center, and the Peopleโ€™s Mansion, fostering rich discussions on innovative research and extension initiatives. As the sun set, the energy shifted to a festive Cultural Night, highlighted by Congresswomanโ€™s Night in honor of Cong. Dette Escuderoโ€”an evening of performances, camaraderie, and Sorsogonโ€™s vibrant heritage.
