Adjusting to college life involves changes in routines, relationships, responsibilities, and living arrangements that can affect how students manage their studies and daily lives. Recognizing these challenges, Sorsogon State University (SorSU) helped students build the knowledge and skills needed to navigate university life through the College Adjustment Seminar- Sorsueรฑos Igniting Knowledge, Leadership, Adjustment and Balance 2.0 (CAS-SIKLAB 2.0).

Led by the Guidance and Counseling Services Unit, in collaboration with the Food and Housing Services Unit, under the Office of the Student Development Services (OSDS) and with the assistance of Peer Facilitators, the three-day seminar ran from August 17-19, 2026 at the SorSU covered court. It focused on practical ways to help students manage academic and personal challenges, maintain mental wellness, build resilience, and become aware of available university services.

Students from the College of Teacher Education (CoTEd), College of Technology (COT), College of Business Management (CBM), College of Health and Science (CoHaS), and College of Engineering and Architecture (CoEA) attended the activity.
