The HCCCI Gender and Development (GAD) Office proudly joins the nation in celebrating Women’s Month this March 1–31, 2026, anchored on “𝙒𝙀 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙀𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙎𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙩𝙮.”

Observed under Republic Act No. 9710 (Magna Carta of Women), this celebration calls for Women and Everyone (WE) to advance gender equality, women’s empowerment, and inclusive development.

Throughout March, HCCCI GAD will conduct advocacy and capacity-building activities promoting women’s rights, leadership, and inclusive participation.

Together, let us build a safe, inclusive, and gender-responsive HCCCI.

Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. participated in the National Art Camp 2026, organized by the LGU Surallah through its Tourism, Art, and Culture Development Center, bringing together young creatives across the municipality. Guided by Socio-Cultural moderators Mr. Jan Kenneth Mendoza, Mr. Zaldy Mark Cerbo, and Mr. Bon Bon Mallare, HCCCI’s student artists engaged in workshops and performances that nurtured creativity, collaboration, and cultural appreciation. The initiative reflects the institution’s commitment to holistic development, made possible through strong mentorship, institutional support, and community partnership in advancing arts education.

As the crescent moon rises, Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. honors the beginning of Ramadhan and sends its regards to our Muslim brothers and sisters all over the world, a sacred month of patience (Sabr), God-consciousness (Taqwa), and compassion (Rahmah).

Every fast strengthens faith, every prayer draws hearts closer to Allah (SWT), and every act of kindness returns in countless blessings. Suhoor nourishes, iftars bring joy, and nights shine with light and dua.

As the season of Lent begins, it arrives not with spectacle, but with an invitation — to slow down, to reconsider, to return.

These forty days offer space to examine what we carry and what we might need to release: pride, resentment, distraction, and fear. In fasting, we practice restraint. In prayer, attention. In sacrifice, clarity. And in the quiet, if we are willing to listen, there is often a voice that reminds us who we are meant to be.

Lent, at its heart, is not about deprivation, but about preparation, a steady movement toward hope, renewal, and the promise of Easter.

The BanKo Caravan at Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI), led by BPI Direct BanKo, Inc., brought on-site banking services to campus, allowing students and employees to open accounts using one valid ID and a mobile phone. More than 60 new accounts were opened, reflecting strong community participation. Beyond account access, the initiative promoted financial literacy, responsible saving, and budgeting. It advanced SDGs 1, 4, 8, 10, and 17 by fostering financial inclusion, economic empowerment, reduced inequalities, and strategic institutional partnerships for sustainable development.

HCCCI remains committed to exploring future programs, events, and partnerships that responsibly promote financial sustainability and strengthen community empowerment.
