📌 May 15, 2026: Extended Deadline for Thesis Final Defense
📌 June 9, 2026: Deadline for Submission of Hardbound Thesis

Procedure for Scheduling:
All students must scan the QR code provided to book their slots. Please ensure you have consulted with your Thesis Advisory Committee before scheduling and that your chosen time does not overlap with your Final Term Examinations.

🚫 SCHEDULING POLICY: Please be advised that students who have already secured a schedule prior to this post are strictly prohibited from changing their slots.

The Institute of Agriculture hereby informs all fourth-year graduating students and those currently enrolled in Thesis 3 of the final schedule for thesis deliberations.

Please be advised that MAY 8, 2026, serves as the concluding day for all Thesis Final Defenses. To ensure a successful graduation clearance, all candidates must have completed their oral defense on or before this date. Students are instructed to coordinate immediately with the IA Research Coordinator regarding the finalization of panels and the scheduling of defense slots.

📝 GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS & PROTOCOLS

1. Room and seat assignments will be posted at the Bulletin Board near Guardhouse or at 2nd Floor, IA Bldg. Please verify your details 2 to 3 days prior to the exam.

2. Strict observance of the time schedule is required. Late examinees will not be admitted.

4. Prescribed Attire: Plain white shirt or blouse (with or without collar), decent pants or slacks, and closed shoes. School ID must be presented (if applicable).

5. Bring at least two (2) pencils (No. 2) and a black ink ballpen.

We encourage all eligible students to finalize their registration immediately and prepare diligently for these examinations.

📝 Attention Institute of Agriculture Thesis Students!

Here is the Step-by-Step Procedure for the Thesis Outline Defense Application at South Cotabato State College.

Procedure:

1. Secure & Arrange: Obtain the Thesis Outline Defense Application Form and Payment Certification from the IA Research Coordinator's Office, and arrange your defense schedule.

2. Pay: Once approved, proceed to pay the thesis outline fee at the Cashier's Office.

3. Submit: Give a copy of the accomplished form to the IA Research Coordinator.

‼️ IMPORTANT NOTE: A defense schedule MUST be set; applications without a confirmed schedule will NOT be approved.
