Surigao del Norte State University (SNSU) officially opened the new semester through ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ธ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ: ๐ฃ๐๐๐๐๐ข๐ก!, with the theme โReturning with Purpose, United in Spirit, and Moving Forward as One SNSU.โ The event marked the formal start of academic and student activities for AY 2025โ2026.
The program featured a welcome message from Ms. Princes Grace Retita, USC Adviser for Academic Affairs, followed by an inspirational address from Dr. Elvis Patulin, Dean of the College of Education, encouraging students to move forward with unity and responsibility. A yell competition and an exciting raffle draw added energy and school spirit to the celebration.
As part of the dayโs activities, the University Student Council (USC) also conducted its 2nd General Assembly for the academic year. Hon. Angelo L. Rodriguez, SNSU Student Regent and USC President, presented the First Semester Accomplishment Report, while Hon. Shiera Shine O. Orquia, Hon. Marc Jhon A. Benzal, and Hon. Rolanel L. Escobia delivered the Financial Report, Calendar of Activities, and the presentation of the 2026 USC Constitution and By-Laws, respectively.
An open forum concluded the program, emphasizing unity, transparency, and active student participation as SNSU begins another academic journey.
