𝐍𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐆𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐒 𝐈𝐍-𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 | On August 20, 2026, the Bicol University Tabaco, Fisheries Department, in partnership with the Bachelor of Science in Fisheries Organization, conducted its annual General Clean-up of the Workshop Rooms (WSR) Building and the Fisheries New Building (FNB).

With the active participation and unified efforts of students across all year levels (1st to 4th year), the operation was successfully completed—setting a clean, productive foundation for the start of Academic Year 2026–2027.

The first day of the university-wide welcome celebration featured the Pillar Walk: Honoring Our Foundations, a festival parade participated in by first-year students from various BU campuses, including the BS Fisheries students of BU Tabaco, followed by the showdown of their respective festival queens.

On August 12, 2026, the Bachelor of Science in Fisheries Organization (BSFI-O) successfully held the Bachelor of Science in Fisheries Parent and Guardian Orientation at Lavilla Hall, BU Tabaco, strengthening the bridge between the academic community, students, and their families.

Administrative leaders and dedicated faculty members shared essential insights into campus life and academic growth.

The event concluded with an open forum, allowing parents and guardians to directly engage with the Fisheries faculty to ensure a collaborative foundation for the upcoming academic year.

[ 𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 ] BU Tabaco Steps Up for Safety and Governance

On August 7, 2026, Bicol University Tabaco successfully conducted its Fire and Earthquake Drill, organized by the National Service Reserve Corps (NSRC) in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), equipping students and personnel with vital disaster preparedness and emergency response skills.

Following the safety drill, students gathered at the BU Tabaco Gymnasium for the 1st General Assembly, where key student governance matters were addressed, highlighted by the official declaration of vacant College Student Council (CSC) positions.
