𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘 | 𝗔𝘀𝘆𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

With the ongoing set of activities for the celebration of the 54th Charter Anniversary of Palompon Institute of Technology, faculty and employees are expected to travel to the main campus for their participation in the big event.

With that, as announced earlier by the Campus Director, classes are declared asynchronous for the date September 3, 2026.

This ensures the continuity of the students' learning while another milestone is honored.

𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗪𝗘𝗥 | Ms. Dana Jane P. Doni-ot of PIT Tabango Campus delivered the winning answer that secured her the crown as Miss PIT 2026 during the Search for Mister & Miss PIT 2026 Coronation Night on September 1 at the PIT Oval Grounds.

Her response reflected confidence, purpose, and the values she hopes to embody as the newly crowned Miss PIT 2026, earning the judges’ nod and bringing the title to the Tabango Campus.

𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡: Mr. Fielson Jon Bacuetes of PIT–Laboratory High School and Ms. Dana Jane Doni-ot of PIT Tabango Campus emerged as Mister and Miss PIT 2026 during the Coronation Night of the Search for Mister & Miss PIT 2026, held at the Palompon Institute of Technology (PIT) Oval Grounds on September 1.

Ms. Rica Patalinghug of the College of Teachers Education (CTE) and Mr. Jules Bibit Abela of the College of Maritime Education (COMEd), were named first runners-up, while Mr. Vladimer Hendrx Maga and Ms. Myrah Andriano, both representing the College of Technology & Engineering (COTE) secured the second runner-up titles.

The newly crowned Mister and Miss PIT 2026 now take the spotlight as they carry the pride and distinction of their respective campuses and colleges.

Candidates of Mr. and Miss PIT 2026 took center stage as they showcased their talents and answered preliminary questions; all part of the PIT@54 Charter Anniversary Celebration, anchored on the theme “PIT@54: A Legacy of Strength, A Future of Promise,” earlier today, September 1, at Balay Alumni.

With confidence, creativity, and wit on full display, the candidates took another step toward the crown as they prepare for their final battle for the titles of Mr. and Miss PIT 2026 tonight.

The competition highlighted not only their talents and presence but also the strength, character, and promise they represent as members of the PIT community.

The Palompon Institute of Technology (PIT) formally opens its 54th Charter Anniversary Celebration today, September 1, with the opening ceremony at the PIT Oval Grounds.

Anchored on the theme “PIT@54: A Legacy of Strength, A Future of Promise,” the celebration brings together the PIT community as it honors 54 years of chartered existence, celebrates its milestones and achievements, and looks ahead to a future shaped by excellence, unity, and service.

“For 54 years, PIT has demonstrated the ability to endure, to grow, to adapt, and to move forward. We have faced changing times, new demands in education, limited resources, and many challenges along the way”, said Dr. Claudine L. Igot, 8th PIT President, underscoring PIT’s resilience throughout its 54-year journey.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | Palompon Institute of Technology (PIT) formally opened its 54th Charter Anniversary Celebration with a solemn Holy Eucharistic Mass held at the PIT Oval Grounds on August 31, bringing together the Institute’s officials, faculty members, personnel, and students in a meaningful celebration of faith, thanksgiving, and unity.

The Eucharistic celebration served as an opportunity for the PIT community to pause and reflect on the institution’s journey, giving thanks for its milestones, blessings, and accomplishments throughout the years.

The Holy Mass was also offered in loving and prayerful remembrance of the late PIT President, Dr. Dennis A. Del Pilar, commemorating his first death anniversary. The PIT community gathered to honor his life, leadership, and enduring contributions to the institution. His legacy continues to live on through the people he inspired, the programs he strengthened, and the institutional values he helped uphold.

The celebration carries the theme “PIT@54: A Legacy of Strength, A Future of Promise,” highlighting the Institute’s enduring legacy and its continued commitment to excellence, service, and a promising future.

As PIT marks 54 years of chartered existence, the community looks back with gratitude, stands firmly in the present with faith, and looks ahead with renewed hope and purpose.

May the spirit of unity and thanksgiving that marked the opening of this celebration continue to guide the PIT community as it moves forward honoring its legacy, strengthening its foundation, and building a future filled with promise.

𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀

Nation's carved out by those who chose conviction over comfort and standing firm when silence would been easier. Today, we pause to honor the men and women; rebels, visionaries, and the quite defenders who envision a free nation long before the world believed it was possible. They didn't fight for the immediate glory nor personal comfort but a quiet dream for a nation's sovereignty.

Their undying hope become the foundation of our independence, proving that no cruelty is permanent when people decided to fight together as one. The legacy of our national heroes are not only seen in monument or street names but on how we fight for justice, protect our heritage, and help each other out of hardship.

To truly honor the legacy of those who gave everything, we must carry their fire forward. We need to protect their memory by chosing integrity over convenience, speaking up for those voices left unheard, and unity over division. Heroism lives on of every person who continue to fight for a better tomorrow.

The tired hands of the farmers and fishermen to provide nourishing food on our table, the relentless passion of our educators in shaping young minds, and the dignity of the workers to keep the community together.

We, bow our heads in gratitude may the courage of our past guides our steps to move forward, and may our love for this land became the light for a better future. Happy National Heroes Day! 🇵🇭

‎The Palompon Institute of Technology (PIT) Tabango student leaders from mandated and affiliated organizations, together with Mr. Agustin Visbal, Student Organizations Coordinator, held a planning meeting on August 26, 2026, at the PIT Tabango Function Hall to discuss preparations for the upcoming Sugat 2026.
‎
‎The meeting focused on the initial planning and coordination of the event, including the proposed theme, activities, and task assignments for each participating organization. The discussion aimed to ensure clear coordination and effective collaboration among the student leaders in preparation for the upcoming celebration.
‎
‎Through unity, collaboration, and active participation, the student leaders are turning plans into a shared vision for the PIT Tabango community.

More than just a celebration, the upcoming Sugat 2026 aims to create meaningful connections, strengthen camaraderie, and bring students together as one community.
