LOOK || FROM CAMPUS TO CAREER: EVSU OJT STUDENTS GEAR UP FOR THE WORKPLACE

Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) set to equip its student-interns with essential workplace values and awareness through the Work Ethics & Safe Space Act Seminar: Internship Pre-Deployment Orientation today, September 2, at the EVSU-ORDeX Studio Room.

The said session, themed “From Classroom to Workplace: Preparing Future Professionals for Real-World Challenges,” brings together students from the Main and External Campuses for discussions on CMO 104, the Anti-Sexual Harassment and Safe Spaces Act, and work ethics.

Anchored on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the activity advances SDG 4 (Quality Education) by preparing students for responsible professional practice, SDG 5 (Gender Equality) by promoting safe and respectful spaces, and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by fostering ethical and professional workplace behavior.

𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐍𝐀𝐍 | Isang matagumpay na pagtatapos ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa ang isinagawa ng EVSU kahapon, Setyembre 1, sa Graduate Programs Function Hall.

Naging siksik ang buong buwan ng mga gawaing nagpapakita ng yaman ng ating kultura, wika, at panitikan. Sa pamamagitan ng iba't ibang paligsahan at pagtatanghal, muling pinatunayan ng mga EVSUnista ang kanilang pagpapahalaga at pagmamahal sa wikang pambansa bilang pundasyon ng pagkakaisa at pambansang kaunlaran.

Even on a holiday, the work for education continues.

Marking National Heroes Day through a commitment to service, EVSU President Dennis C. De Paz, alongside university leaders from across Eastern Visayas, joined Rep. Jude Acidre for a productive dialogue on advancing higher education.

Their shared commitment to serving beyond the ordinary workday reflects a collective resolve to uphold the welfare of our universities and, above all, create better opportunities and a stronger future for our students.

A day of leadership, service, and commitment to the future of Eastern Visayas education.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | EVSU's NSTP Office successfully conducted a General Orientation for first-year students on Saturday, August 29, at the Miguel Romualdez Memorial Auditorium.

The day-long event gathered the newest batch of EVSUnistas across two organized sessions. First-year students from the School of Architecture and Allied Disciplines (SAAD), the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS), and the School of Education (SED) attended the morning gathering. Meanwhile, the afternoon session brought together students from the School of Accountancy, Management, and Entrepreneurship (SAME), the School of Technology (SOT), and the School of Engineering (SOE).

Beyond introducing the core pillars of the National Service Training Program, the orientation featured a special financial literacy session led by representatives from the Philippine National Bank (PNB).

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | EVSU successfully conducted the Graduate Studies Research Colloquium at the Graduate Programs Function Hall earlier today, August 29, as part of the university's 22nd Charter Anniversary celebrations.

Anchored on the theme "One EVSU 2.0: Empowering Graduate Research for Excellence, Resilience, and Global Impact," the colloquium brought together Graduate School alumni and student researchers to present their study papers. The gathering sparked fruitful and insightful discussions across diverse academic disciplines, underscoring the university's commitment to high-impact research.
