𝗕π—₯π—˜π—”π—žπ—œπ—‘π—š: The University Students’ Welcome Activity and Gathering (USWAG) 2026 and Students’ Night: Gabi ng Pasasalamat have been rescheduled to September 17, according to an announcement from the Eastern Visayas State University Supreme Student Government (EVSU-SSG) posted on its official page Wednesday afternoon, August 26.

"The USWAG and Students’ Night: Gabi ng Pasasalamat activities of the EVSU 22nd Charter Celebration have been rescheduled to September 17, 2026. EVSUnistas are encouraged to take note of the updated schedule and make the necessary adjustments to their calendars," the post read.

π—”π—‘π—‘π—’π—¨π—‘π—–π—˜π— π—˜π—‘π—§: The Student Affairs and Services Office (SASO), calls on students, faculty members, and non-teaching personnel to participate in the Survey titled "Project BALAY: Bridging Access to Learning for Students," in line with the mandate of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

The said survey aims to gather essential information from State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and assess their readiness to participate in the first batch of Project BALAY, which is a strategic partnership between CHED and the Pag-IBIG Fund aimed at bridging access to learning for students.

π—Ÿπ—’π—’π—ž: V-Pop (Visayan Pop) performances took center stage as EVSUnistas showcased music, movement, and culture during the KANYAW 2026: Kanta at Sayaw Competition, held at the Miguel Romualdez Memorial Auditorium on Tuesday, August 25, as part of the university’s 22nd Charter Celebration.

Defending its championship title, EVSU - Ormoc Campus once again claimed the top spot, followed by the School of Architecture and Allied Disciplines (SAAD) in second place and the School of Education (SED) in third place.
