Sa mga nagdaang buwan, hindi na maitatanggi ang lumalalang mukha ng pasismo sa ating lipunan—isang estadong kayang ikulong ang kabataan dahil lamang sa kanilang pagtindig at pagsasalita. Ang nangyari sa Tacloban 5 ay malinaw na patunay na nagiging krimin ang pagiging mulat, at pinarurusahan ang kabataang may lakas ng loob na lumaban.

Habang bilyon-bilyong pondo ang kinukurakot at ibinubulsa ng iilan, patuloy namang kinakaltasan ang budget para sa edukasyon. Mga silid-aralang kulang sa pasilidad, estudyanteng hirap makapag-aral, at kabataang pinipilit patahimikin—ito ang sistemang pinoprotektahan ng estado.

𝙉𝙜𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩 𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞 𝙠𝙖𝙢𝙞 𝙥𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙜.

Ngayong Sportsfest, ang Batch Bidhaya ay hindi lamang nakikilahok sa paligsahan—kami ay nakikiisa sa laban ng kabataan laban sa pandarambong at panunupil. Ipinapakita namin na ang tunay na lakas ay hindi lamang nasusukat sa pisikal na kakayahan, kundi sa tapang na tumindig laban sa mali.

Mariin naming kinokondena ang pasistang estado na gumagamit ng dahas, pananakot, at mapanupil na mga batas upang patahimikin ang mga estudyante at aktibista. Hindi krimen ang mag-isip. Hindi krimen ang magsalita. Hindi krimen ang lumaban para sa karapatan.

Sa halip na tugunan ang krisis sa edukasyon, pinipili nilang supilin ang kabataan. Sa halip na panagutin ang mga tiwali, inuusig ang mga naglalantad ng katotohanan.

There are only 𝟮 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼 until HygieNext! As we prepare to empower the next generation with the essentials of self-care and confidence, we are honored to present our speaker who will provide professional insights into building a healthier, more self-aware community.

We are privileged to have as our speaker 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗼, a Registered Nurse and current Doctor of Medicine student who balances clinical expertise with a genuine heart for service. Ms. Puno has consistently demonstrated her commitment to leadership and health advocacy, from her time as Secretary of the RTREF-Nursing Student Government to her active involvement with the Philippine Nurses Association. Her unique perspective as both a healthcare professional and a community leader will surely inspire teens to take charge of their well-being!

Hindi sumiklab ang People Power dahil sa seremonya o pagdiriwang. Ipinanganak ito mula sa pang-aabuso, pandarambong, pandarahas, at panunupil. Lumabas ang mamamayan sa lansangan dahil wala nang ibang natitirang espasyo para sa katarungan. Dahil ang katahimikan ay naging kasabwat ng diktadura.

Apatnapung taon ang lumipas, ngunit bakit tila pamilyar pa rin ang takot, gutom, at kawalan ng katarungan? Dahil hanggang ngayon, patuloy ang panunupil ng rehimeng Marcos at ng mga gahamang politiko.

Patuloy ang pagyurak sa karapatang pantao, patuloy ang red-tagging at pamamaslang, patuloy ang pagbubusabos sa manggagawa, magsasaka, kabataan, at maralita. Buhay ang pasismo, nag-iba man ng anyo, nananatili ang diwa nito.

Kaya’t patuloy na tutungo sa lansangan ang mamamayang inaabuso at pinagsasamantalahan. Dahil ang People Power ay magsisilbing tugon sa kasalukuyang kawalan ng hustisya. Hangga’t may naghahari-harian, may lalaban. Hangga’t may pinatatahimik, may sisigaw. Hangga’t may ninanakawan ng kinabukasan, may maninindigan.

Sa ika-40 anibersaryo ng People Power, ang UPTC Batch Bidhaya ay muling nagpapaalala na ang kalayaan ay hindi ibinibigay—ito ay ipinaglalaban. At kung kinakailangan, muli at muli tayong babalik sa EDSA, at sa bawat lansangan, hanggang tuluyang wakasan ang panunupil at pasismo.

📢 𝗪𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦! 💌🫧

𝗛𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 is a youth-centered project focused on guiding young individuals through the hygienic changes of puberty and adolescence. It is dedicated to supporting young adolescents in our partner community–Center of HOPE - Tacloban, helping them gain access to proper hygiene knowledge and essential supplies.

In line with this, we are humbly knocking on your kind hearts to support 𝗛𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁. We are accepting 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 until 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. It will be used to purchase hygiene kits and supplies for distribution.
