Central Magiting de Tacloban Eagles Lead Relief Efforts for Fire Victims in Brgy. 80, Marasbaras, Tacloban City.
Demonstrating decisive leadership and compassion in action, the Central Magiting de Tacloban Eagles Club spearheaded a community service relief operation for 42 families affected by a recent fire in Brgy. 80, Marasbaras, Tacloban City on April 19, 2026.
The initiative was conducted in line with the Fraternal Order of Eagles’ nationwide Day of Service, under the leadership of National President Mark Lester Limpin, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to immediate and meaningful humanitarian response.
Taking the lead on behalf of the Leyte Eagles District, the Central Magiting de Tacloban Eagles Club mobilized members and coordinated the distribution of essential assistance, including used clothing, mineral water jugs, hygiene kits, and food packs. The relief effort provided much-needed support to families who were displaced and are currently facing the challenges of recovery.
The activity was strengthened through the support and participation of partner clubs within the district, including the Central Magiting de Tacloban Lady Eagles Club, Central Mahagnao Burauen Eagles Club, Central Palo Eagles Club, Central Palo Lady Eagles Club, and Central Palo Junior Eagles Club. This collective effort underscored the power of unity and coordination in delivering timely aid to communities in need.
For the Central Magiting de Tacloban Eagles Club, the operation reflects its proactive commitment to service and leadership within the district. Beyond providing relief goods, the initiative brought encouragement and hope to affected families, reinforcing the true essence of Eaglenism service rooted in brotherhood and compassion.
Through this effort, Central Magiting once again demonstrated that leadership is best measured not by position, but by action, especially in times when the community needs it most.
