The department conducted an orientation on June 24, 2026, filled with excitement and enthusiasm for our Freshman and Old Students, as we open a new academic year. The event featured various games, and performances, marking the day with joy and laughter. Hosted by BSRT 2 Student Jaren Kevin Ocenar and BSRT 3 Student Jericho Agullo, where it began with a prayer, followed by warm opening remarks by Program Coordinator, Sir Allyson Q. Florendo, RRT.

The event also highlighted the introduction of the faculty members, by the college’s dean, Sir Primo B. Montana, RRT, RXT, RSO, MA.Ed. Throughout the program, students were guided by the policies and protocols to help them be prepared for the academic year ahead.

The students’ energy was cheerful with interactive games that allowed participants to get to know their Freshies and Seniors, and with performances thoroughly prepared by BSRT 1 - St. Joachim (‘25-‘26).

This was followed by Election of Classroom Officers, securing qualifications to be the next set of officers for the Association of Radiologic Technology Students (ARTS).

Once more, the event marked a strong start that is full of hopes and dreams, upholding the true purpose of becoming 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑬𝒀𝑬𝑺 𝑶𝑭 𝑴𝑬𝑫𝑰𝑪𝑰𝑵𝑬 🩻☢️👁️

📢STRENGTHENED CAMPUS SECURITY 📢

We are deeply saddened by the tragic shooting incident in one of the public schools in Tacloban City today. Our hearts and prayers are with the victims and their respective families and the entire school community affected. In this difficult time, we are reminded that the safety of our students is our highest responsibility.

To help ensure a safe and secure learning environment, all students, employees, parents/guardians, and visitors are requested to cooperate with the school’s strengthened security screening procedures effective immediately-

🔹Security personnel shall conduct regular inspections of bags, packages, and personal belongings before entry into the campus premises.

🔹Parents/guardians and visitors are required to secure a Visitor’s Gate Pass and sign the Visitor’s Logbook upon entry.

🔹Everyone is encouraged to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious behavior, activities, or concerns to school authorities.

We sincerely appreciate your cooperation, understanding, and support in maintaining a secure and safe campus and learning environment for everyone.

Let us remain vigilant and act with wisdom and care. As Misericordians, may peace and love reign in our hearts, and may the God of Mercy continue to protect us.

𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐃 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐀𝐂𝐘 What was once a dream has now become a reality. After a year of construction, the newly built 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗰𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 finally had its inauguration and blessing on March 25, 2026 in time for the Feast of the Annunciation.

During the program, 𝗦𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘀, the school bursar, offered an opening prayer, after which 𝗦𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲, the school president, delivered her welcome message and briefly summarized the project's objectives, challenges, and outcomes.

The ceremonial turnover of the project and the ribbon-cutting ceremony were done by the members of the school's 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗲𝘀 (𝗕𝗢𝗧) and by 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗷𝗼𝗻, the project engineer and the proprietress of the MEEK Constructions.

The building marker was unveiled by the BOT members, while 𝗦𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗻, one of the former school presidents, did the reading of the marker inscription.

𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗥𝗮𝘆𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗶𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝘇𝗼, the parish priest of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Tacloban City, performed the rite of blessing of the new building, consecrating and dedicating it for God's glory and honor.

Love was put into action through 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, an initiative of the CSSC in collaboration with the Student Program Organizations in relation to Valentine's Day, as our ARTS Officers distributed snacks to our hardworking pedicab drivers and vendors last February 13, 2025. ❤️

From our campus to our community, we chose to love in small, meaningful ways, because sometimes, the simplest gestures leave the biggest impact. ✨
