The Sultan Kudarat State University Graduate School successfully conducted the ANTLERS Research Colloquium 2026 last May 14, 2026, gathering graduate students, educators, researchers, reactors, beneficiaries, and stakeholders in a meaningful academic engagement centered on research and knowledge transfer.
The colloquium served as a dynamic platform for graduate students to present their research studies, exchange ideas, and receive valuable comments and recommendations from experts, beneficiaries, and stakeholders. The event highlighted the vital role of research and collaboration in promoting academic excellence and generating innovative and meaningful solutions for communities and various fields of discipline.
One of the highlights of the colloquium was the sharing of expertise and academic insights by the esteemed plenary speakers. Dr. Wanwisa Suebnusorn Klaijumlang, Associate Professor from Kasetsart University, Bangkok, Thailand, and Dr. Arlyne C. Marasigan, Professor from the Philippine Normal University, inspired the participants through their discussions on research, academic experiences, and collaborative learning.
Dr. Marasigan shared her experiences with Lakbay Lapis, an advocacy project in which researchers directly engage with communities to better understand and address local educational concerns. Meanwhile, Dr. Wanwisa shared to the participants the metrics used in evaluating impactful research and encouraged them to pursue meaningful and socially relevant research in the age of artificial intelligence.
This is the first time the Graduate School has conducted a meaningful exchange of research results in which the beneficiaries and stakeholders identified in the significance of the study were given the opportunity to hear the students present their findings and to ask questions regarding the research.
The Graduate School extends its heartfelt appreciation to all presenters, organizers, reactors, beneficiaries, stakeholders, guests, and participants for their dedication and commitment to research and academic growth. Through collaborative efforts and shared knowledge, the ANTLERS Research Colloquium 2026 successfully celebrated academic excellence, innovation, and scholarly collaboration.
The successful conclusion of the colloquium stands as another milestone in the continuing academic and community development initiatives benefiting researchers, local stakeholders, and partner institutions. The event also supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 4: Quality Education, by fostering inclusive learning and lifelong academic growth; SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, through the generation of innovative research solutions; SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, by addressing grassroots community concerns; SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, by establishing inclusive and transparent platforms for knowledge exchange; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by strengthening vital collaborations between academia, international experts, and local beneficiaries to drive meaningful societal impact.
