The Student Affairs and Services (SAS) conducted the WSP Orientation and Re-Orientation on July 31, 2026, at the TCC Ed-Tech Room, equipping student scholars with essential information, institutional policies, and workplace expectations in preparation for their responsibilities under the program.
The activity officially commenced with a welcome message from the Vice President for Student Welfare- Anecito Moreno, MAEd, who underscored the significance of the Working Scholarship Program in fostering student development, responsibility, and holistic growth.
The orientation featured a series of informative discussions led by distinguished resource speakers. The SAS Director- Ms. Leia Reformina, presented the policies, guidelines, and expectations governing the Working Scholarship Program. The CHRMDO Representative- Ms. Paulette Baba, who discussed the importance of work ethics and professionalism in the workplace, while the Timekeeper: Ms. Marites Parras, oriented the participants on attendance policies and the proper accomplishment of the Daily Time Record (DTR).
The activity reaffirmed the institution's commitment to preparing working scholars to become responsible, disciplined, and competent individuals by promoting accountability, professionalism, and excellence in both their academic and work-related responsibilities.
Through initiatives such as this, TCC continues to strengthen its support for student welfare and holistic development, ensuring that scholars are well-equipped to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
