On December 14, 2025, the Nursing Students Organization (NSO) of Holy Name University, together with the College of Health Sciencesโ€“Local Government Unit (CHS-LGU), participated in Lumba 2025: Strides of Heritage held in Poblacion, Maribojoc.

Serving as part of the eventโ€™s medical team, student nurses provided immediate care to marathon participants, helping ensure health and safety as part of their commitment to community service.

The NSO extends its gratitude to the Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Poblacion, Maribojoc, for leading the initiative, and to the barangay officials for their support in facilitating the event.

The Nursing Students Organization (NSO) recognizes the outstanding publication of a research study from the Academic Year 2024โ€“2025 in the September 2025 issue of the Ignatian International Journal. This achievement reflects Holy Name Universityโ€™s continued commitment to advancing evidence-based nursing practice and strengthening its contribution to international scholarly discourse. NSO commends the researchers from the College of Health Sciences (CHS) Nursing Department for their rigorous work and for exemplifying the Universityโ€™s standards of academic excellence.
