Due to PAGASA’s forecast of light to moderate with at times heavy rains tomorrow caused by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) enhanced by Tropical Cyclone “Maymay,” face-to-face classes in all levels in both public and private schools in Taguig City are suspended on Friday, August 7, 2026.

All affected classes shall shift to modular or other alternative learning modalities.

Residents are advised to continue monitoring official advisories from the City of Taguig and PAGASA and to take the necessary precautions.

Due to the combined effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and Tropical Cyclone "Maymay" and PAGASA's Yellow Heavy Rainfall Warning still in effect over Taguig City, face-to-face classes in all levels in both public and private schools in Taguig City are suspended on Thursday, August 6, 2026, to ensure the safety of learners.

All affected classes are advised to shift to modular or other alternative learning modalities.

Residents are advised to continue monitoring official advisories from the City Government of Taguig and PAGASA and to take the necessary precautions.

Maraming salamat po Sa Barangay Upper Bicutan sa pangunguna po ni Kapitan Francis Sunga at ng kanyang mga kagawad sa pag imbita sa nasabing seminar upang talakayin ang patungkol sa IEC or Information, Education, Communication Campaign on Illegal Drugs.

Ang Pagtalakay ng IEC ay nagsisilbing gabay sa mga mag-aaral upang mas maunawaan ang iba’t ibang isyung kinahaharap ng lipunan tulad ng kalusugan, pag-iwas sa droga, kalinisan, at disiplina.

Sa pag-aaral ng IEC, natututo ang mga mag-aaral kung paano tumanggap at magbahagi ng tamang impormasyon. Nakakatulong ito upang malinang ang kanilang kakayahan sa komunikasyon, kritikal na pag-iisip, at paggawa ng tamang desisyon. Sa pamamagitan ng mga materyales tulad ng poster, polyeto, at anunsyo, mas nagiging madali para sa kanila ang pag-unawa sa mahahalagang paksa.

Mahalaga ang IEC para sa mga mag-aaral dahil ito ay nagiging instrumento upang sila ay maging responsable, disiplinado, at mulat sa kanilang kapaligiran. Natutulungan din silang makaiwas sa mga maling gawain at makagawa ng mga desisyong makabubuti sa kanilang sarili at sa iba.
