We know the sleepless nights, the endless cups of coffee, tea, matcha, and sweets; the countless prayers; the notes, reviewers, papers, and pens used in preparing for this day. You have studied, sacrificed, persevered, and given so much of yourselves to reach this moment.

Ngayong 𝗶𝗸𝗮-𝟯𝟭 𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗴𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗼 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, muli nating ginugunita ang Pambansang Araw ng mga Bayani—isang araw ng pagkilala, pag-alala, at taos-pusong pasasalamat sa mga Pilipinong nag-alay ng kanilang buhay, panahon, lakas, at sarili para sa bayang ating sinilangan—ang ating minamahal na 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘀, ang 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙡𝙖𝙨 𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙣.

Sa bawat pahina ng ating kasaysayan, may mga pangalang nananatiling buhay sapagkat ang kanilang kabayanihan ay hindi kailanman nalimot. Mula sa mga katutubong lumaban sa pananakop, sa mga bayaning nag-alay ng sarili para sa kalayaan, kay Andres Bonifacio na nagpasiklab ng diwa ng pakikibaka, hanggang sa ating pambansang bayani na si Dr. Jose Rizal na gumamit ng karunungan at panulat upang gisingin ang kamalayan ng bayan—bawat isa ay nag-iwan ng bakas na patuloy nating tinatahak hanggang ngayon.

𝑁𝑔𝑢𝑛𝑖𝑡 𝑎𝑛𝑔 𝑘𝑎𝑏𝑎𝑦𝑎𝑛𝑖ℎ𝑎𝑛 𝑎𝑦 ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑑𝑖 𝑛𝑎𝑔𝑡𝑎𝑡𝑎𝑝𝑜𝑠 𝑠𝑎 𝑚𝑔𝑎 𝑝𝑎ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑎 𝑛𝑔 𝑘𝑎𝑠𝑎𝑦𝑠𝑎𝑦𝑎𝑛.

Patuloy itong nabubuhay sa mga makabagong bayani na tahimik na naglilingkod at nagsasakripisyo. Sa mga manggagawang nasa unahan ng panganib, sa mga doktor at nars na nagbabantay ng buhay, sa mga g**o na humuhubog ng kinabukasan, sa mga bumbero at tagasagip na tumatakbo patungo sa panganib upang iligtas ang iba, sa bawat kawani ng pamahalaan na tapat na ginagampanan ang kanilang tungkulin, sa ating mga minamahal na mg magsasaka—kayo ay mga buhay na larawan ng pag-ibig sa bayan.

At higit sa lahat, ang kabayanihan ay hindi lamang para sa mga taong may bantayog, monumento, o pangalang nakaukit sa kasaysayan.

Ikaw. Ako. Tayo. Tayo rin ay maaaring maging bayani.

Sa simpleng pagtulong sa kapwa. Sa pagpili ng katapatan kahit walang nakakakita. Sa paggawa nang may sipag at malasakit. Sa pagtatanggol sa tama kahit mahirap. Sa paggamit ng ating tinig para sa mga walang pagkakataong magsalita. Sa pangangalaga sa kalikasan at sa bayang ipinagkatiwala sa atin. Sa mga magsasakang patuloy na nagpapakain sa bayan. Sa mga manggagawang tahimik na bumubuo sa ating pamayanan. Sa bawat Pilipinong, sa kabila ng hirap, ay pinipiling magmalasakit at tumindig.

Sapagkat ang tunay na kabayanihan ay hindi nasusukat sa laki ng ginawa, kundi sa lalim ng pag-ibig na nagtulak sa atin upang gawin ito.

Ang araw na ito nawa'y hindi lamang maging isang paggunita sa nakaraan, kundi isang paalala ng ating pananagutan sa kasalukuyan. Nawa'y ang buhay at sakripisyo ng ating mga bayani ay maging ilaw na gagabay sa atin upang patuloy na magbuklod, magmahal, maglingkod, at manindigan para sa katotohanan at kabutihan.

Sapagkat ang kalayaan na tinatamasa natin ngayon ay bunga ng mga buhay na minsang piniling ialay ang sarili para sa kinabukasang hindi na nila nasilayan. Kaya't ating alalahanin ang kanilang mga pangalan. Ating pahalagahan ang kanilang mga ginawa. Ating ipagpatuloy ang kanilang nasimulan.

Huwag nating hayaang ang kabayanihan ay manatili lamang sa nakaraan.

Maging boses tayo ng bayan.
Maging liwanag tayo sa kapwa.
Maging kamay tayo ng paglilingkod.
At maging pusong hindi natatakot manindigan para sa tama.

Dahil ang bayan ay hindi lamang isang lupang ating tinitirhan. Ang bayan ay mga taong ating ipinaglalaban, pinaglilingkuran, at minamahal.

Maligayang Pambansang Araw ng mga Bayani!

Isang taos-puso at walang hanggang pasasalamat at pagkilala sa lahat ng mga bayaning nag-alay at patuloy na nag-aalay ng kanilang buhay para sa sambayanang Pilipino.

Para sa bayan. Para sa kapwa. Para sa Pilipinas. 🇵🇭

A special day calls for a special celebration, and today, we turn our warmest wishes toward someone who has become an important part of the TCUMC journey. With great joy, we celebrate the birthday of our 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐌. 𝐒𝐚𝐩𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧! 🎉💛

As you lead TCUMC, you continue to take on opportunities to make decisions, bring ideas to life, and help create meaningful experiences for our members. More than the title you hold, it is the way you carry your responsibilities that makes your service meaningful.

𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘧, 𝘯𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘧𝘢𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘨𝘰 𝘰𝘳 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘰𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦?

Some things in life have a way of returning to where they began, unchanged by the direction from which they are viewed. Memories may fade, roads may end, and time may continue to move forward, yet certain patterns remain beautifully the same. Surprisingly, mathematics has its own version of this idea—numbers that read the same forwards and backwards, known as 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀.

A 𝙥𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙘 𝙣𝙪𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 is a number whose digits remain identical whether read from left to right or from right to left. Its first and last digits match, its second and second-to-last digits are the same, and this pattern continues toward the center.

Some examples include:

• 33
• 121
• 1331
• 142505241

Among these fascinating numbers, some are also perfect squares, such as 121 = 11² and 484 = 22², making them even more remarkable. The smallest palindromic number is 0, proving that even the simplest number can possess a remarkable mathematical pattern.

𝗟𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆

The fascination with palindromic numbers dates back more than a thousand years. Around 850 CE, the Indian mathematician Mahavira explored special numerical patterns and observed remarkable relationships involving symmetrical numbers. One famous example is:
𝟭𝟭𝟭𝟭𝟭𝟭² = 𝟭𝟮𝟯𝟰𝟱𝟲𝟱𝟰𝟯𝟮𝟭

Long before modern computers, mathematicians were already captivated by the beauty of numbers that mirrored themselves.

The term 𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗲 itself comes from the Greek word 𝙥𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙨, meaning “𝘳𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯.” Over the centuries, mathematicians continued exploring these intriguing numbers and discovered fascinating patterns. For example, reversing a number's digits and adding it to the original often produces a palindrome:
56 + 65 = 121

Researchers have also studied special categories such as 𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 (101, 131, 151) and 𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀. Even today, palindromic numbers remain a source of mathematical curiosity. One famous unsolved puzzle is the 196 Problem, where repeatedly reversing and adding the digits of 196 appears never to produce a palindrome—a mystery that continues to challenge mathematicians.

Furthermore, palindromic numbers remind us that while life keeps moving forward, some things remain unchanged. There are moments we must let go because growth requires change, yet there are also things we revisit, hoping for a different ending.

Sometimes, however, no matter how many times we retrace our steps or read the story backwards, the result remains the same. Perhaps that is simply how it was meant to be.
