As the sky clears and Herons begin flocking back to their home as the 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 this 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱. 💙🤍

It is a poignant reminder of the number of lives that were molded on this campus for fifty three years. Lives that did not just fly but soared. 🪁✨

As part of the 53rd Foundation Month Celebration of the University of Makati, the University Student Council will conduct the Annual Organizational Festival 2025 from March 3 to 7, 2025 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

With this, as approved by the Director of CSFD, all student organizations will be allowed to wear Organizational Shirt or Civilian Attire during the whole week of the Organizational Festival and 53rd Founding Anniversary while adhering to the University Dress Code Policy.

The change we seek begins with us.

In a recent post on the first week of February, the UMak Student Congress - the highest policy making body of the University Student Council posted an announcement stating the successful drafting of the revised constitution for the students of the University of Makati.

The amendment of the 2019 University of Makati Student Council Constitution was first filed during the previous term of the UMak University Student Council, and was advanced by the Fifth Student Congress as it was deemed necessary to revise the constitution to clearly define students, the student organizations, and the student government under the constitution.

This decision was affirmed and pursued unanimously by the Fifth Student Congress, thus the proposed constitution shall be known as "2025 Constitution of the Students of the University of Makati" and shall be effective upon the majority vote of the students held through a plebiscite.

With that being said, the change we seek shall begin with us, and it is essential that we participate in this movement through the Constitutional Plebiscite - a democratic process that enables citizens to decide on crucial topics through a direct vote. The said Plebiscite will be held on Februrary 24-28, 2025.

Together, we will build a better, stronger UMak.

UMak Student Congress replaces the USC Constitution and By-Laws

After almost two years since the debatable issue in October 2023, due to the lack of legality and review from the student body, the UMak Student Congress has proposed a new Constitution and By-Laws for 2025, which will replace the current 2019 version. A plebiscite for ratification will be held on February 24, 26, 27, and 28, 2025. Students are encouraged to review both the proposed 2025 Constitution and the 2019 Constitution before voting.

UMak Scan to Pay only accepts payments through GCash; please use the GCash app to complete your payment.

Payments made through PayMaya, online fund transfers, and other payment applications are NOT ACCEPTED.
