Ngayong 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐠𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐢, ating binibigyang-pugay ang mga bayaning nag-alay ng kanilang tapang, talino, at buhay para sa ating bayan. Ngunit bilang mga estudyante, nawa’y maalala natin na ang kabayanihan ay maaari ring magsimula sa loob ng ating mga silid-aralan at sa ating komunidad.

Sa bawat pagkatuto, pagtulong sa kapwa, pakikiisa, at paggamit ng ating kakayahan para sa ikabubuti ng iba, naipapakita natin ang tunay na diwa ng paglilingkod. Bilang mga mag-aaral ng 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, dalhin natin ang diwa ng ating mga bayani sa bawat responsibilidad na ating ginagampanan at sa bawat taong ating pinaglilingkuran.

Ang mga munting paalalang ito ay naglalayong gabayan ang bawat isa sa pagiging maingat, sensitibo, at mapag-unawa sa ating pakikitungo sa mga taong direktang naaapektuhan. Sa ganitong pagkakataon, mahalagang igalang ang kanilang damdamin, pribasiya, at espasyo.

Kung makatagpo ng sensitibong impormasyon, larawan, o iba pang midya, iwasang ipasa, i-repost, o palaganapin ang mga ito. Kung maaari, makiisa sa pagpapanatili ng pribasiya sa pamamagitan ng paghiling na alisin ang naturang nilalaman.

Sa oras ng pagdadalamhati, piliin nating magbigay ng tahimik na pagdamay, pag-unawa, at respeto. Maging maingat sa ating mga salita at kilos, at iwasang makadagdag sa bigat na pinagdaraanan ng iba.

𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐎𝐍, 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐎𝐍.

On August 28, 2026, a monetary donation drive was opened in support of the family of our beloved fellow Heron. Through the kindness and generosity of our community, we have currently raised a total of ₱𝟓,𝟏𝟎𝟎.𝟑𝟎.

𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆, as our officers remain in communication and coordination with them during this difficult time.

𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗤𝗥 𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆’𝘀 𝗚𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝗧𝘆𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘀. Any amount, no matter how small, can be a meaningful gesture of support and solidarity.

The University of Makati confirms that a student was found lifeless on campus today.

UMak has reached out to the family of the student and has coordinated with the authorities for proper investigation.

Guidance counselors, trained faculty, and staff are available to provide support and psychological first aid to members of the UMak community who may need assistance.

We kindly ask the community to respect the family’s privacy by refraining from spreading speculative details and by upholding compassion across all platforms.

We extend our heartfelt sympathies to the student’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.
