Treston International College recently had the honor of hosting delegates from Naresuan University International College (NUIC), Thailand, for a meaningful gathering centered on academic collaboration and cultural exchange on August 10, 2026.
The visiting NUIC delegation was led by Dr. Nongnuch Boonklum, Director, alongside Dr. Don August Delgado, Deputy Director for Academic and Research Affairs, and Mr. Andris Adhitra, Deputy Director for Student and International Affairs. They were warmly received by TRESTON’s leadership led by Ms. Sheryl Genuino-See, Deputy President & EVP; Ms. Maria Carolina Abanil, Academic Director; Dr. Francis Tolentino, School Head, School of Business; Mr. Wilmor Pacay III, Head, Innovation, Publication & Research Office; Engr. Allan Godfrey Sagun, Officer-in-Charge, College and School Head, School of Technology; Dr. Jazzy Buela, School Head, School of Culinary, Hospitality & Tourism; and Mr. Cesar Cruz Jr., Head, Fitness and Wellness.
The highlight of the event was an inspiring discussion focused on establishing a framework for academic cooperation built on equality, reciprocity, mutual benefit, and respect. Through this budding partnership, both institutions look forward to driving excellence in education, research, innovation, internationalization, and mutual intellectual understanding.
To give the guests a true taste of Filipino hospitality, the visit included an interactive tour around the Treston campus. Guests were treated to vibrant traditional dance and song performances, alongside a delicious spread of local Filipino food and delicacies served by TRESTON’s School of Culinary, Hospitality, and Tourism (SCHT) students. The day offered a wonderful mix of culture and shared vision, setting a warm foundation for exciting future endeavors between the two academic communities.
