In celebration of Hospital Week, our Montessorians had the wonderful opportunity to learn, engage, and discover the importance of health and wellness through an inspiring ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐‡๐ž๐š๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐„๐๐ฎ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐Ž๐ฎ๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐œ๐ก conducted by Tagum Medical City, in partnership with the City Health Office and City Tourism Office, on August 20, 2026.

Through this meaningful activity, our young learners gained valuable knowledge from dedicated medical professionals of Tagum Medical City. From learning about healthy habits to understanding the importance of proper health care, the experience helped our Montessorians become more aware of how they can take care of themselves and contribute to a healthier community.

Thank you to Tagum Medical City, the City Health Office, and the City Tourism Office for making this meaningful and enriching experience possible for our learners. Your dedication to promoting health education and wellness continues to inspire our young Montessorians to know, care, and make healthy choices.

Yesterday, our Non-Teaching Staff and College Department participated in a ๐๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐–๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ ๐จ๐ง ๐€๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐€๐ญ๐ญ๐š๐œ๐ค๐ž๐ซ ๐‘๐ž๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ƒ๐ข๐ฌ๐š๐ซ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐“๐ž๐œ๐ก๐ง๐ข๐ช๐ฎ๐ž๐ฌ, presented by Atty. John C. Bantonare.

The workshop aimed to strengthen our teamโ€™s awareness, preparedness, confidence, and ability to respond appropriately during critical situations. Through practical discussions, scenario-based activities, and hands-on exercises, participants learned essential response strategies, team coordination, communication, and evidence-based protocols to guide decision-making in active attacker situations.

More than learning techniques, the training emphasized the importance of remaining alert, responding responsibly, and making informed, life-saving decisions under pressure. It also reinforced the role of every member of the school community in promoting a culture of safety, preparedness, and resilience.

Recent events remind us that school safety is everyoneโ€™s responsibility. While we hope that these skills will never have to be used, being prepared can make a crucial difference when every second matters.

This initiative also supports Sustainable Development Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, particularly in promoting safe, peaceful, inclusive, and resilient institutions and communities.
