𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 || The University of Mindanao Tagum College Reserve Officer Training Corps Unit headed by 𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗝𝗨𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗢 𝗣 𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗬 𝗠𝗜 (𝗚𝗦𝗖) 𝗣𝗔, Commandant together with the UMTC ROTCU Training Staff headed by 𝗧𝗦𝗴 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗼 𝗕 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘀 𝗝𝗿 (𝗜𝗡𝗙) 𝗣𝗔, Chief Clerk of UMTC ROTCU conducted its 4th Formation for the MS-1 (ROTC 100) First Semester A.Y. 2026-2027 on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at exactly 0700H at the UMTC Parking Lot and 3rd Floor New Building of UM Tagum College.

‎The Reserve Officer’s Training Corps of UM Tagum College started its fourth formation at exactly 0700H by troops formation and accounting of troops with checking of attendance and regular inspections.The said training also included classroom instruction on Survival Techniques 1, which was discussed by 𝗦𝗴𝘁 𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗕 𝗕𝗼𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗔 (𝗥𝗲𝘀). The lesson provided the cadets with basic knowledge and understanding of survival techniques and the importance of being prepared and resourceful in various situations. The discussion also emphasized the importance of discipline, preparedness, and proper application of learned survival skills.

At about 1300H, 𝗦𝗴𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗹 𝗖 𝗜𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗿𝗼 𝗣𝗔 (𝗥𝗲𝘀) discussed the AFP Mandate, Mission, Functions, and Organization. The lesson introduced the cadets to the fundamental responsibilities, functions, and organizational structure of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. This topic is part of the Program of Instruction (POI) for Basic ROTC Cadets and aims to provide them with a better understanding of the role and responsibilities of the AFP in serving and protecting the nation.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 || The University of Mindanao Tagum College Reserve Officers' Training Corps Unit (UMTCROTCU), led by 𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗝𝗨𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗢 𝗣 𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗬 𝗠𝗜 (𝗚𝗦𝗖) 𝗣𝗔, 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝘁, together with the Training Staff headed by 𝗧𝗦𝗴 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗼 𝗕 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘀 𝗝𝗿 (𝗜𝗻𝗳) 𝗣𝗔, 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗸, successfully conducted the 3rd Formation for ROTC (MS-1) for the School Year 2026–2027 on Saturday, September 05, 2026, at exactly 0700H at the UMTC Parking Lot and 3rd Floor New Building of UM Tagum College.

The Reserve Officer’s Training Corps of UM Tagum College commenced its formation with the accounting, attendance, and inspection of cadets, followed by the official designation of cadets to their respective platoons for MS-1 (ROTC), First Semester, S.Y. 2026–2027. The day included a series of classroom lectures conducted by 𝗦𝗴𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗭 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗼 𝗣𝗔 (𝗥𝗲𝘀) on Drills and Ceremonies. This classroom instruction is part of the Basic ROTC Program, which aims to instill discipline, leadership, and military bearing among cadets.

More than that, at about 1330H, 𝗦𝗴𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗹 𝗖 𝗜𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗿𝗼 𝗣𝗔 (𝗥𝗲𝘀) discussed Military Customs and Traditions 1. Meanwhile, at about 1500H, the cadets engaged in field training focused on drills and ceremonies, where they practiced proper facing and marching with the help, support, and guidance of the Training Staff, together with the advanced cadet officers of UMTCROTCU.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 || The University of Mindanao Tagum College Reserve Officers' Training Corps Unit (UMTCROTCU), led by 𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗝𝗨𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗢 𝗣 𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗬 𝗠𝗜 (𝗚𝗦𝗖) 𝗣𝗔, 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝘁, together with the Training Staff headed by 𝗧𝗦𝗴 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗼 𝗕 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘀 𝗝𝗿 (𝗜𝗻𝗳) 𝗣𝗔, 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗸, successfully conducted the 2nd Formation for ROTC (MS-1) for the School Year 2026–2027 on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at exactly 0700H at the UMTC Parking Lot/Parade Ground.

The formation began with the accounting and regular inspection of cadets attendance, followed by Classroom Instruction for the MS-1 (ROTC) First Semester S.Y. 2026-2027, held at the UMTC DPT Building 3rd Floor. The day included a series of lectures that tackles the Code of Citizenship and Disaster Preparedness, which have been discussed by Sgt Joseph A Yuson PA (Res), and Sgt Job A Boiser PA (Res).

More than that, at about 1300H, Sgt Joseph A. Yuson PA (Res) also discussed the Standard Conduct of a Soldier. At about 1500H, the cadets were designated to their assigned platoons to ensure proper coordination and accurate monitoring. They also engaged in field training focused on drills and ceremonies, where they practiced basic marching and facing techniques that helped them improve their skills and knowledge in the field.
