Upholding the importance of good manners and right conduct among UMTCians, the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) reminds all students to show respect and proper behavior in face-to-face and online classes modality, and to use appropriate language in all discussions and activities set by their respective instructors.
Furthermore, the OSA encourages students to show respect by using appropriate language and behavior in class discussions, chats, and activities; attend classes on time and participate responsibly; avoid disruptions, including unnecessary noise, misuse of gadgets, or off-topic activities; refrain from recording, sharing, or posting class materials without permission; and uphold academic integrity, as cheating and plagiarism are strictly prohibited.
Failure to observe proper behavior may result in disciplinary actions in accordance with the institution’s policies.
