The 𝙏𝘾𝘾𝙎𝙏𝙁𝙄 community successfully held the program “𝙎𝘼𝙁𝙀 𝘾𝘼𝙈𝙋𝙐𝙎, 𝙃𝙀𝘼𝙇𝙏𝙃𝙔 𝙁𝙐𝙏𝙐𝙍𝙀: 𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝘼𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩 𝙏𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙢 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙃𝙄𝙑” on September 24, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN at the School Gymnasium.

The activity brought together students, faculty, and staff for a meaningful discussion on safety, vigilance, and health awareness.

The program opened with inspiring remarks from 𝘿𝙧. 𝙅𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙈. 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙙𝙤 𝙅𝙧., College Dean, who emphasized youth empowerment through knowledge and responsibility.

The first session on 𝘽𝙤𝙢𝙗 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 from the 𝙀𝙊𝘿 𝙆9 𝘿𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙤 𝙙𝙚𝙡 𝙉𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙚 𝙋𝙀𝘾𝙐 headed by 𝙋𝘾𝙋𝙏 𝙅𝙤𝙚𝙡 𝙋. 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙖, with speaker 𝙋𝘾𝙥𝙡 𝙆𝙚𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙊𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙇𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙨, together with 𝙋𝙈𝙎𝙜 𝙈𝙚𝙡𝙫𝙞𝙣 𝙎. 𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙪𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙤 and 𝙋𝘾𝙥𝙡 𝙅𝙤𝙝𝙣 𝙋𝙖𝙪𝙡 𝘾. 𝘼𝙯𝙪𝙚𝙡𝙖. The team discussed proper actions when encountering suspicious objects — stay calm, do not touch, and report immediately to authorities.

One of the highlights was the K9 Bomb Detection Demonstration, demonstrated by PCpl John Paul C. Azuela and assisted by PCpl Keith Orven Lemos using two motorcycles, which showed how trained K9 units support security and emergency preparedness.

TElvie Sheryn Pallado Fabay𝙣𝙩𝙞-𝙏𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙢 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 session by 𝙋𝙈𝙎𝙜 𝙇𝙡𝙤𝙮𝙙 𝙋𝙖𝙪𝙡 𝙀. 𝙎𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙖 with 𝙋𝘾𝙥𝙡 𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝘾. 𝘼𝙡𝙫𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙯, who reminded everyone of the role of the youth in maintaining peace, vigilance, Elvie Sheryn Pallado Fabaynforcement to prevent terrorism.

The final session focused on 𝙃𝙄𝙑 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨: 𝙆𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 by 𝙈𝙧. 𝙅𝙪𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙁. 𝙉𝙖𝙢𝙤𝙘 from the City Health Office. He discussed transmission, prevention, early detection, and the importance of eElvie Sheryn Pallado Fabayat HIV is preventable and treatable when detected early.

The activity ended with empowered and more aware TCCSTFIans ready to promote a safer and healthier campus.

BTVTED Electrical Technology Students Showcase Skills at World Café Opportunities 2026

Our students from the BTVTED Major in Electrical Technology proudly participated in the World Café Opportunities cm National Tech-Voc Day held on August 26, 2026, at the Arriesgado Gymnasium, Tagum City.

The event brought together various public and private institutions and was spearheaded by TESDA Davao del Norte, under the leadership of Provincial Director Jasmin J. Neri, together with her dedicated staff. We sincerely appreciate their efforts in organizing this meaningful event and providing opportunities for students and institutions to showcase their technical-vocational skills and programs.

As part of the celebration, our students proudly showcased their knowledge and skills in Industrial Motor Control through both actual hardware demonstration and computer-based simulation. They demonstrated how the concepts and principles learned in the classroom can be applied to practical and industry-related electrical motor control applications.

One of the highlights of their presentation was the Reversible Wye-Delta Reduced-Voltage Motor Starter, which they successfully wired and operated using the Industrial Motor Control Trainer. They also demonstrated the same control circuit through CADe_SIMU, together with other types of Full-Voltage Motor Starters, highlighting their competence in both actual electrical installation and digital simulation.

Beyond technical skills, the activity provided our students with a valuable opportunity to demonstrate their confidence, teamwork, problem-solving abilities, and practical knowledge in front of fellow participants and industry stakeholders.

This successful participation was made possible through the guidance and support of our Electrical Professor/Trainer, Sir Joel S. Gecain, whose dedication and mentorship helped our students prepare for and successfully demonstrate their Industrial Motor Control projects.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to our School Administrator, Mr. Jose M. Baldonado Jr., together with the TVET Department Staff, for their continuous support, encouragement, and commitment to providing our students with meaningful opportunities to learn, demonstrate, and grow.

Most importantly, we express our sincere gratitude to TESDA Davao del Norte Provincial Director Jasmin J. Neri and her staff for spearheading this event and creating a platform where students can confidently showcase their skills, knowledge, and potential.

Their participation reflects the importance of hands-on learning and industry-related training in Technical-Vocational Education. Through activities like this, our students are given opportunities to strengthen their skills and prepare themselves to become competent, skilled, and work-ready future Electrical Technology professionals.
