PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT | SCHEDULED EARTHQUAKE ALARM SYSTEM TEST

Safety first, Theresians!

The STCTI Campus Security and Safety Office will conduct a scheduled testing of the Earthquake Alarm System on September 19, 2026 (Saturday), at approximately 1:00 PM.

The alarm will sound for approximately one (1) minute and is ONLY a system test. No earthquake drill or emergency response is being conducted during this scheduled testing.

We encourage everyone in the STCTI community to remain calm and informed upon hearing the alarm. Please take note of the schedule to avoid unnecessary concern or confusion.

Your safety is a shared responsibility. Let us continue to live out our Theresian spirit of Service, Truth, and Communion by staying alert, informed, and prepared.

From an idea to a song, from a song to a story, LAYAG NG BUKAS has sailed its way to 3rd Place in BFAR MuSEAKA 2026, bringing home two special awards: Best in Lyrics and Best in Cinematography.

More than the awards, this journey is about young Theresians finding their voice and using their talents to speak for something bigger, the future of our seas.

To the Theresian Community and the STCTI Administration, thank you for the love, guidance, and support throughout this journey. Above all, we thank St. Therese and God for blessing these young Theresians with talents they can use to inspire and make a difference.

And finally, to the Theresian Socio Cultural Club (SoClub) Organization, the team that made Layag ng Bukas possible, this one is yours. Thank you for turning creativity, passion, and teamwork into a voice for our seas.

A meaningful celebration of Fish Conservation Week (FishCon) came to a close at the North Atrium, Robinsons Place Butuan, bringing together LGUs, private partners, advocates, and young champions for the protection of our fisheries and aquatic resources.

The ceremony recognized the valuable contributions of various LGUs and their private partners, with BFAR Caraga Regional Director Omnia B. Olama delivering an inspirational message that reminded everyone of our shared responsibility to sustain and protect our waters.

The program also celebrated the Top 3 winners of the BFARSEAning and BFAR MuSEAKA Contests, proudly featuring the talents and creativity of our very own Theresian students representing Caraga.

Our Layag ng Bukas has sailed to the Top 3 of the BFAR Caraga MuSEAka Music-Video Making Competition in Caraga!

This is a moment for our young Theresians who have used their talent, creativity, and voice to champion our seas and sustainable fisheries. Now, itโ€™s time for the whole Theresian Community to sail with them!

We invite everyone to visit the original BFAR post, LIKE, SHARE, and leave a supportive comment to show our students how much their community believes in their work. Every like, share, and comment helps amplify their message and allows the voice of our youth to reach even farther.

Today, the Saint Theresa College of Tandag community joins the Church in celebrating the Feast Day of San Nicolas de Tolentino, the Patron Saint of the Souls in Purgatory and the Dying.

Known for his deep compassion and devotion to prayer, San Nicolas reminds us of the profound power of prayer, especially for those who have gone before us and for those nearing the end of their earthly journey.

On this special day, may we remember our departed loved ones with prayers and entrust to God's mercy the souls who await the fullness of His presence. May we also pray for those who are sick, suffering, and approaching the end of life, that they may be comforted by God's love and grace.

As a Theresian community rooted in faith, service, and communion, may we continue to carry one another in prayer and compassion, trusting in God's promise of eternal life.

Saint Theresa College of Tandag proudly came together for the Opening Parade of the Sangkaan Festival 2026 on September 6, 2026, bringing with us the vibrant spirit of the entire Theresian community.

From our dedicated Faculty and Staff to the enthusiastic High School and Elementary DLC, every step along the parade route reflected the unity, energy, and pride that make STC a community like no other.
