AY WAIT WRONG ! IT’S DAVE! DAVE! DAVE!

Happy Birthday to our Physical Creative Marshal, DAVE!

Meryln has the viral moment, but Dave has the BIRTHDAY CONTENT!

Today’s agenda: less planning, more partying; less Marshal duties, more cake; and absolutely ZERO responsibilities because THE BIRTHDAY GIRL HAS THE FLOOR!

MERYLN WENT VIRAL. DAVE WENT OLDER.

Happy birthday, Marshall Dave! Stay creative, stay iconic, and keep slaying, because getting older is mandatory, but being this iconic is a choice! 💅🏻

Global Health Focus (GHF) Universities Excellence has officially released its updated list of the top 22 Philippine schools qualifying for the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Ranking, with North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU) listed 17th nationwide.

To be considered, a university must meet the criterion of producing 100 or more Scopus publications. This year, NEMSU crossed the historic milestone to become a candidate for THE World University Ranking for the first time after contributing 126 research papers to the Scopus database—vastly outperforming its total of 42 last year.

Also making their appearances on the updated list are Bukidnon State University, Pangasinan State University, and Mapua Malayan Colleges Mindanao.

2027 THE World University Ranking has been released this month. The same Philippine universities are ranked. Ateneo de Manila University is the top university of the Philippines. For QS World University Ranking, the University of the Philippines is the top university of the country. You will notice that the Scopus production of these six universities differs and does not correlate with the ranking. Once you meet the requirements, the next assessment is the impact of the research such as citations. We are happy to see that there is now an increasing list of candidates for the THE World University Rankings. We congratulate Bukidnon State University, North Eastern Mindanao State University, Pangasinan State University, Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao and Central Mindanao University for debuting on this list. We look forward to many more HEIs of the Philippines doing more research and producing more scientific publications. [Note: The colored cells are the ones considered for ranking having reached 100 for that year.]

In celebration of 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐚𝐲, we are reminded that proper handwashing is one of the simplest yet most effective ways to prevent the spread of germs and protect our health.

As we promote proper hygiene and sanitation, let us continue to encourage everyone to make handwashing with soap and clean water a daily habit. Through this simple act, we can help build a healthier and safer community.

Together, let us make cleanliness a priority, 𝐤𝐚 𝐛𝐢𝐳𝐤𝐚𝐝𝐚! Because clean hands save lives, and good hygiene starts with us.

Clean hands, healthy lives!
