The 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐁𝐒𝐎𝐀) 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦, through the 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 (𝐂𝐀𝐄𝐒), successfully conducted a 𝙎𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙧-𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙥 𝙤𝙣 𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙇𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙮 on 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at the 𝗧𝗖𝗚𝗖 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀’ 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗲.

The initiative brought together 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 from the local communities, providing them with an avenue to strengthen their knowledge and practical skills in utilizing technology and digital tools for their administrative responsibilities. The activity emphasized the importance of digital literacy in improving efficiency, organization, communication, and service delivery within the barangay.

The seminar-workshop was led by 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐳𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐀. 𝐂𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐬 and 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐚 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞 𝐏. 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧, who shared valuable insights and practical knowledge on technology and digital literacy. Their discussions and hands-on activities equipped the participants with useful strategies and digital competencies that can be applied to their daily administrative tasks and community service.

The program was organized under the leadership of 𝐂𝐀𝐄𝐒 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 Prof. Kathleen P. Quirante, with the active assistance of the 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 (𝐀𝐘𝐎𝐀) and its student leaders and volunteers. The activity was further supported by the 𝐈𝐁𝐅𝐒 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲, under the guidance of 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐏. 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞, 𝐌𝐁𝐀, whose guidance, encouragement, and collective efforts contributed significantly to the successful implementation of the activity.

The BSOA Program and CAES extend their sincere appreciation to the participating 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬, resource speakers, faculty members, and student leaders whose cooperation and dedication made the seminar-workshop a meaningful and successful learning experience.

Today, August 27, 2026, the People's Gymnasium in Tangub City becomes a vibrant gathering place for unity, friendship, culture, and solidarity as we celebrate the 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗡 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆, with the inspiring theme: “𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿.”

The BEAMS 3rd International Research Conference, themed "Harnessing Research Frontiers: Innovation, Emerging Technologies, and Transformative Inquiry," gathered researchers, educators, and practitioners from various fields, including Business and Management, Education, AI and Emerging Technologies, Medical and Allied Health Sciences, and Social Sciences and Humanities. It took place last August 19-20, 2026 at the University of the Visayas - Main Campus, Cebu City.

Our representatives, Prof. Rosana D. Anduhar, MBA and Prof. Nancy A. Alo, MBA of the Office Administration Program, and Prof. Grace V. Geopano, MBA and Prof. Danisa Nikki Abella of the HRM Program, attended the inaugural lectures led by two distinguished plenary speakers. Dr. Eyad Abushandi discussed "The Next Research Revolution: How AI Is Reshaping Knowledge Creation," shedding light on how artificial intelligence is transforming the way knowledge is generated and validated. Dr. Jean Paolo Lacap, DBM followed with "From Data to Discovery: Emerging Tools for the Modern Researcher," offering practical insights on the tools and methods now shaping modern research practice.

Beyond gaining these valuable insights, our representatives stood proudly on the stage themselves, successfully presenting their own collaborative research papers under Cluster A: Business and Management, studies that stand as testaments to the caliber of research being produced within the Institute.

Truly a proud moment for TCGC-IBFS, as our faculty not only gained fresh insights from experts in the field but also contributed their own research to the growing body of knowledge in their respective disciplines, a clear reflection of the Institute's unwavering commitment to research excellence, faculty development, and active engagement in the global academic community. The Tangub City Global College – Institute of Business and Financial Studies (TCGC–IBFS), Human Resource Management Program proudly participated in the 33rd People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) Mindanao Regional Summit, held on August 19–20, 2026, at Hotel de Susana, Valencia City, Bukidnon.
Representing the HRM Program were Prof. Kevin B. Tenorio, Program Head, and Prof. Ryan Ram G. Elesterio, Assistant College Registrar/HRM Faculty.

Anchored on the theme “HEARTware: Upgrading Systems, Humanizing Work,” the summit provided a valuable platform for learning, professional exchange, and meaningful engagement with HR practitioners, business leaders, and people-management professionals from across Mindanao.
Participation in this regional gathering reflects TCGC–IBFS’s commitment to continuous professional development, industry engagement, and keeping its HRM education responsive to the evolving needs of the workplace.

Through opportunities such as this, our faculty gain fresh perspectives and industry insights that can be translated into meaningful learning experiences for our students—helping prepare future HR professionals who are competent, adaptable, people-centered, and future-ready.
