🩸 Tarlac stands strong for life.

The Philippine Red Cross honored 532 blood donation partners in Tarlac for their continued support of the National Blood Services Program.

For the past six years, Tarlac’s partners have contributed approximately ₱53 million to PRC’s blood services—helping ensure that life-saving blood reaches patients when they need it most.

ɪꜱɪᴘɪɴ ᴍᴏ, 79 ʏᴇᴀʀꜱ. 79 ʏᴇᴀʀꜱ!

In the Philippines, the Philippine Red Cross has continued its commitment to serving communities and upholding the spirit of humanity, compassion, and volunteerism.

On April 15, 1947, the Philippine National Red Cross was inaugurated as a national organization, marking an important milestone in the history of the Red Cross in the Philippines. Wherein, its establishment came in the post-war period, following the passage of legislation establishing the national society earlier that year.

This September, we commemorate 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐢𝐝 𝐃𝐚𝐲, observed every year on the second Saturday of September. It is a reminder that first aid is a skill that can empower ordinary people to respond during emergencies, provide immediate assistance, and potentially save lives while waiting for professional medical help.

Every basic skill we learn matters.

Every training session we attend prepares us to respond.

Every volunteer who chooses to serve becomes part of something greater than themselves.

and at the same time in an emergency, knowing what to do can make a difference.

On September 2, 2026, our dedicated teams were deployed to Balaoang and Tablang, Paniqui, Tarlac, bringing much-needed support to affected communities.

With the support of our generous donors, PCCI Tarlac and Cindy’s Bakery and Bakeshop, we were able to extend assistance to those in need.

Our 20 dedicated staff, volunteers, RCY members, and volunteer doctors continue to serve with compassion, commitment, and solidarity.

On September 2, 2026, the Philippine Red Cross Tarlac Chapter mobilized a multi-service response team to bring vital aid directly to families in Paniqui, Tarlac.

Working on the ground across Brgy. Balaoang and Brgy. Tablang, our response teams successfully served a total of 1,000 individuals. Driven by a dedicated mobilization of 20 personnel—comprising 3 staff, 6 chapter volunteers, 9 Red Cross Youth (RCY) volunteers, and 2 volunteer doctors—operations delivered holistic care:

Welfare & Food Distribution: Distributed 1,000 food packs (rice and sausage), 1,000 bottles of water, and 161 loaves of Cindy’s bread.

Health Services & Lectures: Conducted healthy lectures on dengue, leptospirosis, and cough/colds (ubo't sipon) with IEC material provision reaching 1,000 individuals, alongside blood pressure monitoring for 104 individuals.

Medicine Provision: Served 138 individuals with essential over-the-counter and prescription medicines, including 200 capsules of Doxycycline, 200 tablets of Lagundi, 120 tablets of Ferrous Sulfate, Paracetamol (10 tabs, 10 bottles), 30 tablets of Carbocisteine, 30 tablets of Amlodipine, 20 tablets of Symdex, 3 bottles of Chlorphenamine, 15 ointments of Katialis, 38 jars of Vicks VapoRub, and 1 inhaler.

Child-Friendly Space: Operated a Child-Friendly Space (CFS) serving 45 children.

Sa patuloy na pag-iral ng Habagat at malalakas na pag-ulan, marami pa ring komunidad sa Tarlac ang nakararanas ng pagbaha, displacement, at pagkaantala sa kanilang pang-araw-araw na pamumuhay. ‎
Sa panahong nangangailangan ang ating mga kapwa Tarlaqueño, hindi tayo mananatiling nakatingin lamang. ‎
Ang College of Science Student Council (COS SC) at mga College of Science Organizations ay nakikiisa at sumusuporta sa Tarlakalinga: Kabataan Kumikilos. Komunidad Bumabangon, isang initiative ng Kaya Natin! Youth – TSU Chapter para makapaghatid ng tulong sa mga komunidad na apektado ng pagbaha. ‎
