The TSU Chorale was invited to grace the State of the City Address (SOCA) of Tarlac City Mayor Susan Yap, held today at the Tarlac City Convention Hall.

Representing Tarlac State University, the Universityโ€™s chorale contributed to the occasion through its musical participation, adding a dignified and ceremonial touch to the gathering attended by city officials, guests, and members of the community.

The invitation reflects the growing role of the Universityโ€™s performing arts groups in various civic and institutional occasions, providing opportunities for TSUโ€™s student artists to share their talent and represent the University beyond its campus.

Through the Office of Culture, the Arts, and Languages (OCAL), TSU continues to support and develop its performing arts groups as ambassadors of the Universityโ€™s artistic excellence and cultural spirit.

Bilang bahagi ng paghahanda para sa Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2026, nagsagawa ang Office of Culture, the Arts, and Languages (OCAL) ng pagpupulong kasama ang mga Cultural Coordinators ng bawat kolehiyo ng Tarlac State University ngayong Agosto 11, 2026, alas-9:00 ng umaga, sa tanggapan ng OCAL.

Pinangunahan ni OCAL Director Prof. Augusto N. Lulu, Jr. ang pagpupulong na nakatuon sa mga paunang paghahanda, programa, gawain, at koordinasyon para sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika sa buong pamantasan.

Higit pa sa pagpaplano ng mga gawain, nagsilbi rin ang pagpupulong bilang pagkakataon upang higit na mapatatag ang ugnayan ng OCAL at ng mga Cultural Coordinators. Bilang mga kinatawan at katuwang ng tanggapan sa kani-kanilang kolehiyo, mahalaga ang kanilang papel bilang tulay ng komunikasyon at koordinasyon sa pagitan ng OCAL at ng mga kolehiyo ng institusyon.

Sa pamamagitan ng sama-samang pagpaplano at pakikipagtulungan, layunin ng OCAL na maisakatuparan ang isang makabuluhan, masigla, at inklusibong pagdiriwang na magbibigay-diin sa kahalagahan ng wikang Filipino at sa mayamang kultura ng bansa.

REPOST | Tarlac State University

Central Luzon State University and Pampanga State Agricultural University took the crowns in the Mr. and Ms. SCUFAR III 2026.

Held last August 5, 2026 at the TSU Gymnasium, candidates from Region III state universities and colleges (SUCs) vied for the crown as they showcased grace and wit during the competition.

Ms. Riane Caile Santos from PSAU believes in her winning answer that this culminating event is more than just recognition; rather, it's about friendships and relationships built along the way. Meanwhile, Mr. Rome Carpio from CLSU noted that coming together and being united is the key to building a strong foundation towards a better future.

CHED Commissioner Desiderio Apag III and TSU President Dr. Jasper Jay N. Mendoza awarded the winners during the ceremony.

TSU finished as 1st Runner-Up for Ms. SCUFAR III, alongside NEUST (2nd Runner-Up), ASCOT (3rd Runner-Up), and PMMA (4th Runner-Up). In the Mr. SCUFAR III division, NEUST was awarded 1st Runner-Up, followed by BulSU (2nd Runner-Up), PMMA (3rd Runner-Up), and TSU (4th Runner-Up).
