CONTINUED ONLINE CLASSES, WFH ARRANGEMENT FOR AUGUST 20, 2026
Tarlac State University will shift to online learning modality at all levels and adopt a work-from-home (WFH) arrangement on August 20, 2026, following Memorandum Circular No. 131 issued by Malacañang Palace, which calls for alternative work arrangements in government offices and alternative learning modes in public and private schools across select areas of Luzon.
Faculty members are expected to utilize synchronous and/or asynchronous modalities, as appropriate, while providing students with learning tasks, activities, and instructional materials to support continued learning.
Meanwhile, essential frontline services such as:
• Civil Security Unit (CSU);
• Medical Services Unit (MSU);
• Office of Management Information Systems (OMIS);
• Facilities Development and Management Office (FDMO);
• Facilities Maintenance Unit (FMU);
• Janitorial and Grounds Services Unit (JGSU);
• Pollution Control & Safety Unit (PCSU); and the
• Motorpool Unit personnel
are exempt from WFH arrangement and are expected to physically report to the university.
Moreover, deans, directors, and heads of offices are given the discretion to implement a full WFH arrangement or adopt a skeletal workforce schedule, with careful consideration given to the individual situations and safety of their personnel.
