In recognition of the vast potential of the Philippines in terms of manpower resource, USST was established in September of 1994 as a technical and vocational training school. The founders sought to provide students the opportunity to have formal but low-cost education, and ultimately produce graduates who become valuable members of society, to the benefit of not only the student and his/her famil

y, but also the community and the country. Starting out small, with only ten (10) teachers and four hundred (400) students when it was established in SY 1994-1995, enrollment has steadily increased yearly. Tabamo, the school underwent significant changes: the school revised its curricula offerings; expanding its original technical/vocational courses to 4-year degree programs in such fields as criminology, business administration, education, hotel and restaurant management, and social work. In 2010, USST moved to a new campus, and is now nestled in San Isidro, Tarlac City - continuing to reaffirm its commitment to play a bigger role in developing and cultivating the country’s human resources and to keep true to its mission: to produce competent graduates and productive citizens in support of the nation’s economic and social development agenda.

USST Students’ Night 2026 Concludes with Electrifying Finale, Marks a Week of Triumph

April 24, 2026 — Tarlac Civic Center

The long-awaited finale reached its peak as The Juans took the stage, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Cheers erupted across the Tarlac Civic Center as smiles filled the venue and phones lit up the air, capturing every second of the moment. Fans rushed toward the front, eager to witness the band up close, creating an atmosphere charged with excitement.

As The Juans began their performance, their stage presence proved nothing short of extraordinary. The energy inside the venue soared to new heights, with the audience singing along wholeheartedly to every song. Voices echoed, feet moved to the rhythm, and emotions poured out turning the performance into a shared experience that transcended a concert. It was, for many, an unforgettable night etched in memory.

More than just a celebration, the event stood as a testament to what USST continues to offer its community. The Students’ Night, alongside the entire Foundation Week, reflected the institution’s unwavering commitment to giving its best not only in academics but in creating meaningful and rewarding experiences for its students, teachers, and staff. It showcased a level of generosity and dedication that sets USST apart as a one-of-a-kind institution.

While the week was filled with competitions and awards, it became clear that the true victory extended far beyond trophies and titles. The real winners were the people, the students who celebrated, the teachers who guided, the staff who supported, and the guests who became part of something special. Together, they formed the heart of a successful 32nd Foundation Anniversary.

As the lights dimmed and the music faded, one message remained clear, this is only the beginning. USST has set the bar high, and the future holds even greater promise. If this year was any indication, the next Foundation Week will bring even more surprises, excitement, and unforgettable moments.

In the end, it wasn’t just about the performances, the prizes, or the spectacle it was about the experience. And in that experience, every student stood as a winner.
