The seminar “𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲: 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀” was successfully held last 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, at the 𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿, 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹, 𝗧𝗦𝗨 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹, organized by the 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 in collaboration with the 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

The two entertaining and educational sessions in this two-batch seminar were designed to provide third-year students with the confidence and skills they would need to survive real-world interviews.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗟𝗮𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶 𝗧𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗼-𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, our resource speaker for the first batch in the morning, gave insightful advice on how students can gain confidence in interviews by posing clear questions, acting professionally, and getting ready. For students to communicate more effectively, she emphasized the significance of comprehending the task, remembering pertinent experiences, and practicing delivery. She also offered the STAR approach as a guide for answering questions.

Under the observation of 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘇 𝗛. 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀, the second batch (afternoon) improved students' professional appearance even more by teaching them effective body language and communication strategies. Additionally, students created practical plans to help them land top-notch jobs in the future.

With 300 attendees in each of the two sessions, the seminar provided an effective learning environment for students to develop their self-assurance, improve their communication skills, and make deliberate moves toward becoming professionals prepared for the workforce.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 – 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗰 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 successfully held its 𝗖𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 last 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, at 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁, 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗰.

For this insightful session, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻 was 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗲 on the topic “𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.” His discussion focused on how professionals can enhance their personal brand, build self-confidence, and project professionalism in every aspect of their career.

Mr. Silaran emphasized that maintaining a professional image goes beyond mere appearance. It is reflected in how we speak, act, and interact with others on a daily basis. He also highlighted the value of effective communication, credibility, and appropriate behavior in strengthening one’s influence within the workplace.

Developing a strong professional image allows individuals to align with their organization’s values, foster trust, and open doors for greater opportunities, growth, and meaningful connections in their respective fields. ☕️✨

Hindi magtatagal, mapipilitan rin tayong tanggapin ang dilim ng katotohanang mayroon.

Ang mga kasiyahang ibinulong sa paraang pasikreto
Ang pagdurusang inilibing na parang kabaong
At ang mga galit sa imahe ng 'di matiis at mapigilang baho.

Hindi matagal bago malaman ng lahat ang buong kwento, at matanggap natin na iyon ang totoo. Dahil ating makikita, mararamdaman, at maaamoy ang bagsik nito...na para bang isang bangkay na hindi na kaya pang itago.

On 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, the 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 invited the 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 to conduct an extension activity focusing on enhancing professionalism and workplace conduct among government employees. The session featured 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗬. 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻, 𝗖𝗛𝗣, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗿. 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗱𝗮 𝗔. 𝗧𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗮, 𝗖𝗛𝗘, who shared their expertise on professional image and social etiquette in the workplace.

The first session was led by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗬. 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻, 𝗖𝗛𝗣, who discussed “𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.” His talk centered on the importance of maintaining professionalism among front-line staff and promoting a positive and credible office image. Mr. Silaran emphasized that professionalism goes beyond physical appearance — it is reflected in how individuals speak, behave, and carry themselves in the workplace. He also reminded participants that as government employees, being mindful of one’s words, actions, and demeanor is essential in earning public trust and upholding the integrity of public service.

Following his discussion, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗱𝗮 𝗔. 𝗧𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗮, 𝗖𝗛𝗘, delivered an engaging talk on “𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀.” Her session focused on workplace etiquette and the importance of proper behavior in various professional settings. Dr. Tonelada guided participants on how to present themselves with confidence, courtesy, and respect — key elements in building positive professional relationships and promoting harmony in the workplace.

The activity gathered rank-and-file employees, supervisors, and agency heads — all eager to strengthen their workplace presence and communication skills. Through the insights shared by both speakers, participants gained valuable knowledge on how to embody professionalism and grace, fostering a more respectful and credible work environment.
