ТЕМРОRARY ACADEMIC ARRANGEMENTS AND ADJUSTMENTS DUE TO CALAMITY-RELATED DISRUPTIONS (SEPTEMBER 14 – ОСТОВER 3, 2026)

TSU will implement temporary and responsive academic arrangements to ensure learning continuity while prioritizing the safety, welfare, and circumstances of students and personnel in response to the recent heavy rains brought by the habagat and the collapse of two major bridges crossing the Tarlac River.

SHIFT TO ONLINE CLASSES FOR AUGUST 29, 2026
In view of the heavy rainfall brought by the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and the resulting flooding in various areas of the province, classes at all levels in TSU shall be conducted online (synchronous or asynchronous) on Saturday, August 29, 2026.
Faculty members are enjoined to ensure the continuity of instruction through appropriate learning tasks and activities. The University likewise encourages everyone to stay home and prioritize safety.
For the information and guidance of all concerned.

ADVISORY NO. 42
CONTINUED ONLINE CLASSES, SKELETAL WORKFORCE FOR AUGUST 18, 2026
In compliance with Memorandum Circular No. 128 issued by Malacañang Palace, which orders the implementation of alternative work arrangement for government offices and alternative learning mode at all levels in public and private schools in select areas of Luzon, TSU will shift to online learning modality and skeletal work arrangement on August 18, 2026.
Faculty members shall utilize synchronous and/or asynchronous modalities as appropriate, and shall provide learning tasks, activities, and instructional materials that allow students to continue learning.
Meanwhile, personnel involved in preparations for the CHED RQAT, as well as those performing vital, health, safety, and emergency-response services, are exempt from the work-from-home (WFH) arrangement and are expected to physically report to the university.
To ensure continuous service delivery, office transactions shall be conducted online. All personnel under the WFH arrangement are expected to monitor and act on their online transactions promptly, so that no request, document, or communication is left unattended and no disruption or delay to standard operations occurs.

Due to heavy monsoon rains (habagat) and forecasted flooding, all classes at all levels in Tarlac State University will shift to ASYNCHRONOUS MODALITY ONLY tomorrow, Tuesday, August 11, 2026.
• No On-Campus Classes or Student Activities — All university campuses will be closed for face-to-face student activities.
• Prioritize Safety — Stay indoors, monitor weather updates, and keep your communication lines open.
Meanwhile, all offices shall continue normal operations to serve the community, unless otherwise announced.
