🎭🎶 CALLING ALL TALENTED TSU STUDENTS! 🎶🎭

Are you ready to step onto the stage, tell stories, create music, and represent Tarlac State University?

The search is officially on for the next group of performers who will represent TSU in CAASUC III, a regional performing arts competition that brings together talented students from different universities.
We are looking for passionate, committed, and versatile students who are ready to learn, grow, and work together as one team for the Short and Sweet Play Musical Category.

🎭 WHO CAN AUDITION?

All bonafide students of Tarlac State University, regardless of program or year level, are welcome to audition.
We are looking for students who:
• Can sing
• Can act
• Can dance or are willing to learn
• Can play musical instruments (an advantage, but not required)
• Are willing to explore different roles and characters in acting
• Are creative and, preferably, have an interest in story writing or developing stories
• Are teachable, humble, respectful, and willing to work with a team
• Are ready to commit to rigorous and continuous training and rehearsals
• Are willing to represent TSU and compete at another university for the duration required by the competition
• Most importantly, are passionate about performing and willing to give their best for TSU

You do not have to be perfect. What matters is your potential, dedication, willingness to learn, and love for the performing arts.

The schedule, venue, and other important audition details will be announced through the official communication channels. All registered auditionees will also be added to a Facebook group chat where further announcements and instructions will be posted.

𝐖𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫, 𝐖𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭.

On September 21, 1972, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐰 was declared. Where speech was censored and protest was crushed and they let fear and dictatorship rule. And that’s the reason why we remember the tragedy of past. Martial Law was the time the voices of Filipinos are suppressed.

But we hold on to the truth.
The students who marched. The reporters who kept telling the story. The families who searched for the missing. The ordinary people who chose to speak when it was dangerous not to.

54 years later, this right still belongs to us. 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐈𝐈𝐈, 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟒 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 defends it: the right to speak out, to ask hard questions, to publish the truth, to push back.

When you silence people, you erase more than words—you erase memory, facts, and justice. We don’t mark this day out of habit. We mark it because forgetting lets it happen again.

We are reaching out today on behalf of one of our COMMates, 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗹𝘂, and her family who is currently going through a very difficult time.

Her younger sister is in need of an 𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘆, and as you all know, this kind of operation requires a huge amount of money that their family is struggling to provide right now. They are doing everything they can, but even that is not enough.

In times like this, even the smallest act of kindness can make a big difference. Your donation, whether big or small, will be a ray of hope for Clarabelle and her sister. It will go a long way in helping cover the hospital bills and ensuring her sister gets the proper care and treatment she urgently needs.
