CONTINUED ONLINE CLASSES, SKELETAL WORKFORCE FOR AUGUST 19, 2026
Tarlac State University will shift to online learning modality and skeletal work arrangement on August 19, 2026, following Memorandum Circular No. 129 issued by Malacaรฑang Palace. The directive calls for alternative work arrangements in government offices and alternative learning modes in public and private schools across select areas of Luzon.
Faculty members are expected to utilize synchronous and/or asynchronous modalities, as appropriate, while providing students with learning tasks, activities, and instructional materials to support continued learning.
Meanwhile, essential frontline services such as:
โข Civil Security Unit (CSU);
โข Medical Services Unit (MSU);
โข Office of Management Information Systems (OMIS);
โข Facilities Development and Management Office (FDMO);
โข Facilities Maintenance Unit (FMU);
โข Janitorial and Grounds Services Unit (JGSU);
โข Pollution Control & Safety Unit (PCSU);
โข Office of Admission and Registration (OAR); and
โข Cashiering Unit personnel
are exempt from the work-from-home (WFH) arrangement and are expected to physically report to the university, based on TSU Administrative Order No. 57, s. 2026.
Moreover, all members of the administrative council together with their department and unit heads that are not affected by the continuous rain, as well as the teaching and non-teaching personnel involved in preparations for the CHED RQAT are also expected to report onsite.
To ensure continuous service delivery, office transactions shall be conducted online. All personnel under the WFH arrangement are expected to monitor and act on their online transactions promptly, so that no request, document, or communication is left unattended and no disruption or delay to standard operations occurs.
