Sa ating pabago-bagong panahon, ang ating Wika at kultura ay unti-unting nasasapawan na ng ibang mga gawi. Ngunit ngayong Buwan na ito, itampok naten ang Lingwahe at kultura ating minana sa ating mga ninuno. Ngayon, tayo na't ipagdiwang at pangalagaan ang ating wikang Filipino. Kagaya na ng gawi ng ating mga ninuno, tayo ay pumili at tangkilikin ang kulturang pagpili ng lakan at lakambini.

Sa pagkakataong ito, ating kilalanin ang mga kabataang hahakbang sa tanghalan bilang Lakan at Lakambini, dala ang kanilang sariling kuwento, katangian, at tinig bilang bahagi ng ating makulay na kulturang Filipino.

Sila ay mga kabataang nagdadala ng isang wikang minana, isang kulturang patuloy na hinuhubog, at isang pagkakakilanlang patuloy na nagbibigay-kulay sa ating bayan.

Higit pa sa pagiging matatag sa mga sulyap ng bagyo at pagiging matulungin sa kapwa, ang pagkakakilanlan ng isang Pilipino ay nakatatak sa kung paano niya binibigyang-halaga ang sarili niyang wika.

Hindi natin maikakaila ang mabilis na pagbabago mula sa panahon ng ating mga ninuno tungo sa makabagong teknolohiya. Subalit sa kabila ng lahat, nawaโ€™y patuloy na manalaytay sa ating mga puso ang walang-maliw na pagmamahal sa sarili nating wika.

Ngayong ipinagdiriwang natin ang Buwan ng Wika, inaanyayahan namin ang aming kapwa CAFAmilya upang makibahagi. Ang pagtitipong ito ay hindi lang isang simpleng pagdiriwang, ito ay isang pagkakataon upang ipakita ang inyong angking talento at makiisa sa pagbibigay-pugay sa ating kultura.
