In accordance with ๐ข๐ฉ๐ฃ๐๐ ๐ ๐ฒ๐บ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐๐บ ๐ก๐ผ. ๐ณ๐ฌ, ๐. ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ regarding the temporary academic arrangements and adjustments due to calamity-related disruptions, the University has provided that, beginning ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ด, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ, the learning modality at all levels shall be determined by the respective college.
In this regard, the ๐๐ผ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ด๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ผ๐๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ (๐๐๐), in consultation with the ๐๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐, ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐น๐๐ ๐บ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐, and student leaders, has decided to implement ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ-๐๐ผ-๐ณ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐น๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ๐ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐น๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฏ๐ท๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ด๐ฒ, while giving due consideration to students who may be unable to attend classes face-to-face due to calamity-related circumstances.
Accordingly, the following arrangements shall be observed:
1. ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ ๐ฒ๐บ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐๐บ
This memorandum shall apply to ๐ฎ๐น๐น ๐น๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฒ๐ taken by students at the College of Business and Accountancy, including Major, Business Related, General Education (GE), PATHFIT and NSTP courses. The provisions of ๐ข๐ฉ๐ฃ๐๐ ๐ ๐ฒ๐บ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐๐บ ๐ก๐ผ. ๐ณ๐ฌ, ๐.๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐น๐น ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐น๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ ๐๐ผ ๐ข๐ป-๐๐ต๐ฒ-๐๐ผ๐ฏ ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด (๐ข๐๐ง), ๐๐ธ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ ๐น๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐, ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐๐บ๐, and ๐ผ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ถ๐บ๐ถ๐น๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐ that are conducted face-to-face. unless otherwise provided by a subsequent University issuance.
2.๐๐บ๐ฝ๐น๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ-๐๐ผ-๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐๐น๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ๐ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐๐ฏ๐ท๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐
Face-to-face classes for lecture subjects shall be implemented across the College beginning September 28, 2026.
3. ๐๐ผ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ณ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฆ๐๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐
Faculty members are expected to give due consideration to students who are unable to attend face-to-face classes due to circumstances directly related to the calamity or resulting disruptions.
4. ๐๐น๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐
For affected students unable to attend face-to-face classes, the ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐น๐๐ ๐บ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐น๐น ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐น๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ based on the course's nature, learning outcomes, and students' circumstances. Possible arrangements may include, but are not limited to:
โข Uploading or providing learning modules and other instructional materials;
โข Providing lecture presentations or supplementary learning resources;
โข Sharing recorded lectures or lessons;
โข Providing appropriate asynchronous learning activities; or
โข lmplementing other reasonable measures that will allow affected students to continue their
learning despite their inability to attend face-to-face classes.
5. ๐ฆ๐๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ ๐ช๐ต๐ผ ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ ๐๐ผ ๐๐๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ-๐๐ผ-๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐๐น๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ๐
Students who may be affected by the situation but are able to safely travel to and attend their scheduled face-to-face classes are encouraged to do so.
6. ๐ค๐๐ถ๐๐๐ฒ๐, ๐๐
๐ฎ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ข๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐๐๐ฒ๐๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐
For ๐ค๐๐ถ๐๐๐ฒ๐, ๐๐
๐ฎ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐, and ๐ผ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐, the faculty member shall ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ who are unable to report to the campus. Alternative arrangements may be provided when deemed appropriate and feasible, taking into consideration the nature of the assessment and the circumstances of the affected students.
7. ๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐น๐๐ ๐๐ถ๐๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐บ๐ถ๐ฐ ๐๐ผ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐
Faculty members are given reasonable discretion in determining appropriate arrangements for affected students, provided that such arrangements remain consistent with the course learning outcomes, academic requirements, fairness, and academic integrity.
8. ๐๐ผ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด
๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐น๐๐ ๐บ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐ผ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐๐ต ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐ผ ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ถ๐ฟ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ regarding alternative arrangements implemented for affected students, particularly when these involve modifications to the usual mode of instruction or assessment.
9. ๐๐ณ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐๐
This memorandum shall take ๐ฒ๐ณ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ด๐ถ๐ป๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ด, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ, and shall remain in effect until superseded, modified, or otherwise addressed by a subsequent memorandum or official issuance from the University regarding the matter.
The College encourages all faculty members to exercise understanding, flexibility, and sound academic judgment in addressing the circumstances of affected students while ensuring the continuity and quality of instruction.
All concerned are enjoined to be guided accordingly.
