๐ˆ๐ ๐๐‡๐Ž๐“๐Ž๐’: The Tarlac State University ROTC Unit, under the 302CDC, 3RCDG, RESCOM, Philippine Army, successfully conducted its ๐…๐ข๐Ÿ๐ญ๐ก ๐š๐ง๐ ๐’๐ข๐ฑ๐ญ๐ก ๐“๐ซ๐š๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ƒ๐š๐ฒ for the ๐Œ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐š๐ซ๐ฒ ๐’๐œ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐Ÿ Training Program on ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ• ๐’๐ž๐ฉ๐ญ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ” at the TSU Lucinda Campus.

The Reserve Officers Training Corps, under the leadership of ๐‹๐“๐‚ ๐…๐‘๐„๐ƒ๐„๐‘๐ˆ๐‚๐Š ๐†๐€๐‹๐€๐๐† ๐Œ๐ˆ ๐๐€ (๐‘๐„๐’), Commandant, and with the supervision of ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐‚๐ƒ๐‚ ๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง๐ง๐ž๐ฅ, successfully conducted the Fifth and Sixth Training Day.

The morning session began with the MS1 Basic Cadets performing ๐…๐ข๐ž๐ฅ๐ ๐ƒ๐ซ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฌ, strengthening their discipline, coordination, alertness, and proper ex*****on of commands. This was followed by a classroom instruction focusing on ๐“๐ก๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐’๐ž๐œ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, providing cadets with a deeper understanding of the different challenges that may affect the safety, stability, and security of the nation.

In the afternoon session, the cadets took their ๐Œ๐ข๐๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฆ ๐„๐ฑ๐š๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, assessing their knowledge and understanding of the lessons covered throughout the training and their readiness for the succeeding phases of the Military Science 1 program.

Through the dayโ€™s activities, the cadets continued to develop their discipline, knowledge, and military bearing, strengthening the foundation needed to become responsible and capable leaders in service.

The training was conducted under the supervision of ๐‚๐๐“ ๐Ž๐‘๐‹๐˜ ๐‘๐€๐˜ ๐ƒ๐”๐„ร‘๐€๐’ (๐๐Œ๐’) ๐๐€, ๐€๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ง๐ญ ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐š๐ง๐๐š๐ง๐ญ, ensuring that the activities were carried out in accordance with the objectives and standards of the ROTC Training Program.

The training focused on strengthening the cadetsโ€™ foundation in military knowledge, discipline, and proper conduct. Throughout the session, MS1 basic cadets participated in military drills and activities designed to develop their alertness, teamwork, bearing, and ability to follow commands. Also present during the Third and Fourth training day was ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐…๐ซ๐š๐ง๐œ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ƒ ๐๐ข๐œ๐จ๐ฒ, ๐‘๐Ž๐“๐‚ ๐‚๐จ๐จ๐ซ๐๐ข๐ง๐š๐ญ๐จ๐ซ.

As part of the training, ๐Œ๐’๐  ๐‰๐จ๐ก๐ง ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐ง ๐ ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฅ๐š ๐‚๐ซ๐ฎ๐ณ (๐€๐ซ๐ฆ) ๐๐€, ๐€๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ง ๐๐‚๐Ž, discussed the ๐‚๐จ๐ซ๐ž ๐•๐š๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ž๐ฌ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐’๐ญ๐š๐ง๐๐š๐ซ๐ ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐๐ฎ๐œ๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐š ๐’๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ข๐ž๐ซ. The discussion highlighted the importance of values such as duty, honor, integrity, and respect, which guide soldiers in carrying out their responsibilities and maintaining professionalism in every situation.

These customs help instill respect, discipline, camaraderie, and a strong sense of identity among military personnel.

Beyond physical training and classroom instruction, the activities gave the cadets an opportunity to apply the values and principles expected of future members of the Corps. Each exercise and discussion contributed to developing their confidence, discipline, and sense of responsibility as they continue their ROTC journey.

The Third and Fourth Training Day served as another step in building cadets who are not only physically prepared but also guided by strong values, proper conduct, and respect for military traditions.
