ICCAC-CAF’26 UPDATE | TAYABAS SCORPIONS SHOWED INTENSE COMPETITIVESNESS AT ICCAC-CAF 2026

Tayabas Scorpions have again proven their competitive spirit and resilience on the recent ICCAC-CAF 2026, securing an impressive overall 4th Runner-Up finish in the ICCAC 2026.

Competing against a diverse pool of talented campuses and colleges, the Scorpions demonstrated consistency, creativity, and determination throughout the ICCAC. Their performances reflected not only technical excellence, but also a deep sense of cultural pride—qualities that allowed them to rise above many contenders and secure a spot among the top-performing teams. Finishing as the 4th Runner-Up is no small feat, especially in a competition where each participating school brings its best representatives across multiple categories.

Their journey did not end there. At CAF 2026, another competitive arena, the Tayabas Scorpions faced even tougher challenges. Despite the heightened level of preparation, they clinch the 15th overall spot—an achievement that may not be as highest as the others, but shows that everything can improve.

Behind these accomplishments, lies months of preparation, discipline, and teamwork. From rehearsals to strategy-building, the Scorpions invested time and effort to refine their craft. Their performances were not only a showcase of talent but also a testament to their perseverance and unity as a team.

More than just rankings, these achievements highlight the continuous growth of the Tayabas Scorpions as a cultural and competitive force. Their ICCAC and CAF journey serves as an inspiration to aspiring performers and a reminder that success is built on dedication, passion, and collective effort.

𝗕𝗜𝗬𝗔𝗛𝗘𝗻𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗻: Unity in Times of Challenge

Our 𝗕𝗜𝗬𝗔𝗛𝗘𝗻𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗻 community pantry was a simple student-led effort to help drivers, tricycle operators, and other members of the community who are still feeling the effects of the ongoing crisis.

With prices going up, even small expenses now need careful thinking. Life feels less certain, and people often worry if their income is enough for their daily needs.

In those short moments, even the simple things we shared started to feel meaningful. It made us realize that kindness doesn’t have to be big to matter. People walked away with quiet, genuine smiles on their faces, as if for a while, life didn’t feel so heavy.

In the end, 𝗕𝗜𝗬𝗔𝗛𝗘𝗻𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗻 was just a simple act of helping out—but it also showed how people can come together, even in small ways, and somehow make the day a little lighter for each other.

Simple Turnover, Strong Message: SLSU SSC Upholds Transparency and Trust

The turnover may have happened in a simple hallway, but the message behind it was clear and meaningful. The former SLSU Supreme Student Council officially turned over ₱21,014 to the new set of officers, led by Director Reymar A. Ortega together with Assistant Ivan Lipit.

There was no grand setup, but the moment felt genuine. By openly showing the funds, the council proved their commitment to transparency. It reminded students that they deserve to know where their money goes. It may seem like a small thing, but it helps build trust.

The funds will be used for the upcoming ICAAC CAF to support its preparations and activities. In simple ways like this, the council continues to build a more informed, involved, and connected student community.
