OFFICIAL OPENING OF THE PLEBISCITE VOTING

Yuyans, the decision is yours to make once more!

The SLSU Federal COMELEC officially opens the Google Form link to the plebiscite voting for the amendments to the SLSU SSCF Constitution and By-Laws, Academic Year 2025-2026. The Commission hopes that the student body stays aware, informed, and trained to take actions such as this into their own hands, as these changes to the Constitution directly impacts the students' lives inside the University.

Voting will proceed via Google Forms, from 8 am, November 24 to 3 pm, November 28, 2025.

WHAT ARE THE ROLES OF THE VOTERS, THE STUDENTS, AND THE COMELEC IN THE PLEBISCITE?

In light of the upcoming plebiscite for the decision of the students regarding the amendments in the SLSU Supreme Student Council Federation, students must stay informed about their roles in these kinds of activities to enhance their participation and be more aware of crucial situations such as these.

Last October 9, 2025, a new chapter begins for the Southern Luzon State University-Tayabas Campus' Commission on Elections as the leadership is officially turned-over to the new set of officers.

This marks not only the conclusion of a remarkable term, but also the beginning of another year of transparency and dedication. The outgoing officers and adviser were recognized for their unwavering commitment and hard work. This will continue to inspire the next leaders.

The newly appointed officers and adviser took their oath and gladly accept their responsibilities they will carry together with the promise of continued initiatives and right electoral processes.

This is more than just a turnover, it is a renewal of trust and building another legacy.

The SLSU Tayabas Commission on Election, the electoral body of the Southern Luzon State University Tayabas City Campus, officially proclaims the winners of the SLSU Tayabas Student Council Elections for Academic Year 2025-2026.

The listed individuals have met the minimum required percentage of votes to be able to be proclaimed in accordance to the Federal Commission on Elections Constitution and By-Laws Article XXV, Section 2, Sub-Section 1 stating "In case of a position where there is only one (1) candidate, if the candidate receives 50%+1 of the affirmative votes, the candidate is eligible to fill the position, otherwise, the candidate is not eligible." for the SLSU-Tayabas Student Council Elections AY. 2025-2026
