The institution actively participated in the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) CY 2026 as part of its commitment to promoting disaster preparedness, safety awareness, and emergency response readiness.

Through this activity, faculty, staff, and students were given the opportunity to practice proper earthquake response procedures and reinforce the importance of preparedness in minimizing risks during emergencies.

The 3rd-year BSA students of SLSU Tayabas, who are currently undergoing their On-the-Job Training (OJT) at UPLB-IPB, successfully participated in the in-house training on DNA Extraction and Molecular Analysis of Various Crop Species. This valuable learning experience provided them with fundamental knowledge and hands-on skills in molecular techniques widely used in modern agricultural research.

Through activities like these, our future agriculturists continue to broaden their expertise, strengthen their practical competencies, and gain deeper appreciation for the role of science and technology in advancing agriculture.

The Office of the University Registrar would like to inform all graduating students that the Graduation Rehearsals for the 57th Commencement Exercises will be conducted on the following dates:

📍 Venue: SLSU Gymnasium

Attendance in all scheduled rehearsals is highly encouraged to ensure the smooth and orderly conduct of the commencement ceremonies. Important instructions regarding the graduation program, academic procession, seating arrangements, and graduation protocols will be discussed during these rehearsals.
