The President's Message:
Be Courageous and Step Forward in God's Will Philippians 2:13
"For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him." (NLT)
Dear Students,
Many people wait until they feel completely ready before they take a step forward. They wait until they have no fear, no uncertainty, and no possibility of failure. But the truth is, great things are often accomplished by those who are willing to step out in faith before they feel ready.
God has not called us to live a life of comfort and hesitation. He has called us to live a life of faith, courage, and obedience. Every person God used in the Bible had to take a step of faith. Noah built the ark before the rain came. David faced Goliath when everyone else was afraid. Peter stepped out of the boat onto the water. They did not know exactly how everything would work out, but they trusted God and moved forward.
Philippians 2:13 reminds us of an amazing truth: God is working in us. He not only gives us the desire to do His will, but He also gives us the power to accomplish it. This means that when God places a dream, a calling, or an opportunity before you, you do not have to rely on your own strength alone. The same God who calls you is the God who empowers you.
As students, you will face many challenges. You may be afraid to try something new. You may hesitate to share your faith, lead a group, pursue a dream, or step into a new opportunity. Fear may tell you, "What if I fail?" But faith asks, "What if God uses me?"
Never let fear stop you from attempting great things for God. Success is not simply achieving what you want; success is faithfully following God's direction. Even when the path seems difficult, God can use your obedience to accomplish His purpose.
