Today is the day you have all prepared and prayed for – Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).

All those sleepless nights of studying, all those sacrifices you made, and all those determination you displayed are all worth it because you are now ready to take this big step. You must remember that all those hard works you displayed are not in vain. You are ready, you are capable, you are worthy, and you are now ready to take this step because you are meant to take it.

You must remember that you are not alone in this journey. The SLSU Tiaong Guru Society is always behind you – supporting you, believing in you, and cheering you on to success.

You will soon be a Licensed Professional Teacher.

On this day, January 24, we acknowledge our equal rights to quality education and its role for our world’s peace and development. The International Day of Education is a reminder that education is not just a privilege we own, but a possession we deserve. Its aim revolves around inclusivity and equitable quality teaching that will result in lasting opportunities for all, as proclaimed by The United Nations General Assembly.

While its avidity has positively influenced others, approximately 250 million children and youth are still affected, and are out of school, leaving their right to education to be violated. This reality hereby serve as a reminder for our continuous support to educational advocacies, access to quality education, and the power of youth in co-creating education.

Today, may our hearts be as one, as we reside in our rights, and may our voices be unified to create a space that echoes to a bright future for us all, as inequality ends with us. Together, let’s embrace the power of education to resolve one's stolen freedom, and taken wealth.

The Bachelor of Elementary Education successfully held the Teaching Internship Orientation and Pinning Ceremony on January 16, 2026, with the theme, “Igniting the Torch of Service: Welcoming Future Educators to the Profession.” This meaningful event officially welcomed the BEEd Class of 2025-2026 as student interns and marked the beginning of their pre-service teaching journey.

The program featured insightful discussions on internship policies, workplace ethics, and the Anti-Sexual Harassment Act, guiding students toward professionalism and responsibility in the teaching field. A heartfelt tribute was also given to the parents for their unwavering support.

Congratulations, future educators! May you continue to inspire, learn, and serve with passion. ❤️✨
