On March 06, 2026, IT students gathered for an insightful and inspiring seminar entitled:

"ππ”πˆπ‹πƒ: Roadmap to Techknowpreneurship"

The seminar was graced by our guest speaker,
Engr. Reign Jansen P. De Silva, who shared valuable insights about the importance of combining technical skills with an entrepreneurial mindset in today’s fast-growing digital world. Using our Roadmap to a successful Techknowpreneur, "BUILD" means:

1. Believe Bigger
2. Understand Real Problems
3. Improve Continuously
4. Leverage Technology Wisely
5. Do It Now

He emphasized that being in the IT field is not only about mastering technology, but also about understanding business, innovation, and opportunities that can turn ideas into successful ventures. The talk inspired students to think beyond coding and systems, and to become future IT professionals who are also capable of building and leading businesses in the digital era.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Engr. Reign Jansen P. De Silva for sharing his knowledge, experience, and inspiration with our BSIT/BIT students here at SLSU-Tiaong Campus.

Masaya Makisaya sa SLSU!!

On March 06, 2026, IT-FEST was successfully conducted at the Liccup Covered Court (LCC) under the direction of the Com-Tech Wizard's Guild (CTWG). With the theme:

β€œπ‘»π’†π’„π’‰ π‘­π’Šπ’†π’”π’•π’‚: π‘Ίπ’‰π’‚π’‘π’Šπ’π’ˆ 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑭𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 π‘»π’‰π’“π’π’–π’ˆπ’‰ π‘»π’†π’„π’‰π’π’π’π’π’ˆπ’šβ€

The event highlighted the talents, knowledge, and teamwork of IT students through exciting activities such as the Photo Contest, Mobile Legends Tournament, Quiz Bee and the Family Feud, where participants showcased both their strategic gaming skills and technological knowledge.

A special part of the celebration was the Send-Off Party for our 4th Year students, honoring their hard work, dedication, and the journey they have taken throughout their college life. As they move forward to the next chapter, their memories and contributions will always remain part of the IT community.

Congratulations to all the Guilds β€” Cyber Guardians, Techno Mancers, Binary Knights, Tech Titans & Digital Mages and thank you so much for your eagerness to participate as we embarked on this event. It was a day full of fun, unity, & resilience from different perspectives of our event.
