𝗦𝗟𝗦𝗨 - 𝗧𝗶𝗮𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝟵𝟱.𝟲𝟱% 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗟𝗘𝗣𝗧

Southern Luzon State University - Tiaong Campus obtained a highly impressive 95.65% passing rate in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) – Elementary Level after the official announcement of the results by the Professional Regulation Commission on May 12.

In particular, 22 out of 23 examinees from SLSU - Tiaong Campus were able to pass the board examination. In addition, the university attained an impeccable record in terms of first-time examinees with all of the 21 candidates passing the licensure exam, thus recording a 100% passing rate. Meanwhile, one out of the two repeaters was able to pass the examination as well.

Moreover, Ms. Aila Marie M. Prialde, an SLSU - Tiaong Campus BEEd alumna, placed fifth in the March 2026 LEPT with a 93.80% rating.

“Unexpected na napasama ‘yong name ko sa list of topnotchers kasi paglabas ko ng testing center noong day ng exam, tanggap ko na sa sarili kong baka hindi talaga para sa ‘kin. Pero siguro, kapag talaga ibibigay ni Lord, ibibigay N’ya,” said Prialde in the interview.

She further shared that one of the greatest lessons she learned from this season of her life was to never be afraid to ask big things from the Lord, emphasizing that dreams become possible through constant prayer, hard work, and perseverance.

This feat clearly illustrates the university’s dedication to providing high-quality and competent teachers via its teacher education program.

Based on data released by the Professional Regulation Commission, a total of 18,376 out of 32,796 examinees nationwide passed the elementary level examination, resulting in a national passing rate of 56.03%.

Applicants who did not pass the entrance examination and wish to apply for reconsideration may apply for slot reconsideration starting May 11 for the following program offerings at Southern Luzon State University – Tiaong Campus:

• Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Major in Agronomy and Soil Science)
• Bachelor of Elementary Education
• Bachelor of Industrial Technology (Major in Computer Technology)

𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀
1. Submit all required documents for reconsideration.
2. Wait for the Student Admission Office’s approval. Results will be posted on this page.
3. Once approved, proceed with the slot confirmation process.

All qualified applicants under the following programs are required to confirm their admission slots on May 5–6, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the SLSU Tiaong campus:

• Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA)
• Bachelor of Industrial Technology (BIT)
• Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd)

Failure to confirm on the scheduled date will result in the loss of the slot.

The Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) Student Admission Office has officially released the results of the College Entrance Examination conducted on February 28, 2026, for applicants of SLSU Tiaong.

Qualified applicants may now verify their admission status by checking their examinee number as indicated on their test permit through the official admissions portal. Applicants are advised to ensure accuracy in entering their details when accessing the results.

To address the emerging needs arising from transportation challenges brought about by the increase in oil prices, and in response to the Memorandum issued by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) providing higher education institutions the option to shift to fully online classes, an Emergency Inception Meeting was held today, April 13, 2026, from 8:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at the Office of the President (OP) Conference Room. The University likewise takes cognizance of the need to balance academic continuity with the implementation of national government austerity measures.
