Today, we, the people of Antique, remember and honor Evelio B. Javier—a proud son of Antique whose courage, integrity, and sacrifice helped shape our shared history.

We remember him not only for the position he held, but for the principles he stood for: justice, democracy, and genuine service to the people. His life reminds us that leadership is a responsibility, and that public office is a trust that must always be exercised with honesty and courage.

As we commemorate Evelio B. Javier Day, we renew our collective commitment to uphold the values he lived by. May we continue to choose truth over fear, service over self, and unity for the greater good of Antique.
