The 𝐂𝐞𝐛𝐮 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 – 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 (𝐂𝐏-𝐆𝐈𝐅𝐓𝐒) 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦, under the Office of Board Member Kuya Nick Pepito, is now accepting new applicants for Batch 6.

𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆?
✓ Applicants who have already completed the 1st semester of their 1st year in college, or those who are incoming for the 2nd semester of their 1st year in college
✓ Residents of the Province of Cebu only (excluding Cebu City and Lapu-Lapu City)
✓ Must be enrolled in any state university or public college, such as CTU, CNU, and other public institutions

Note:
✓ Applicants are not allowed to apply if they are already availing of another scholarship, whether from a private or government institution

𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦:
✓ K–12 report card with final grades, and 1st semester final grades
✓ Certificate of Good Moral Character from Senior High School
✓ Barangay Certificate (proof of residency)
✓ Voter’s Certification (registered voter in the Province of Cebu)
✓ Tax Exemption Certificate of parents or guardian (to be obtained from the BIR). Please bring a Barangay Indigency Certificate and cedula for issuance
✓ Student Information Form and Letter of Attestation (to be downloaded from the CP-GIFTS page or secured from the TALAVERA Satellite Office)
✓ Endorsement Letter from Board Member Kuya Nick Pepito
✓ Certificate of Enrollment (COE) as proof that you are currently enrolled in college

📌 This is on a 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭-𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞, 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭-𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐬. Only 100 slots are available.

A 𝐩𝐫𝐞-𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 will be held on 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 17, 2026, 𝐚𝐭 1:00 𝐏𝐌, at 𝐊𝐮𝐲𝐚 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐏𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐨’𝐬 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞, Purok 4, Barangay Talavera, near the Barangay Hall.

“The storm tested us,but it also reminded us how strong we can be- together with our students, we rise.”

Today, relief goods are distributed to our students residing in Toledo City and Balamban who were greatly affected by the Typhoon Tino. Most of them personally received the relief goods at the Campus Director’s Office and then they were safely brought back to their respective homes. Some relief goods were delivered personally by the school administrators, instructors/professors, and staff to the house of the students in Balamban.

We are grateful to everyone who have shared their time,energy, blessings, resources, and others to make our students feel that we are a family.

📍HOLIDAY ADVISORY‼️

There will be no classes in all campuses of Cebu Technological University on October 31, 2025 (Friday), following Malacañang’s declaration of the date as an additional special non-working day nationwide under Proclamation No. 727.

The proclamation, signed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., aims to give Filipinos more time to prepare for and observe All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day, allowing families to spend quality time together while honoring their departed loved ones.

This declaration also creates a long weekend from October 31 to November 2, helping ease congestion in cemeteries, terminals, and major roads during the Undas observance.
